There is absolutely no proof that Leta didn't intend to type ppp but instead only got pp out. If you honestly think he should lose a proleague game for that then you're seriously fucked up man. Take a step back and look at what you're saying. It's not his job to use his judgement when the rule is specifically written as to what's illegal. If KeSPA wanted this rule to be less strict, they would have worded as such. And stop putting words in my mouth. Nowhere did I say the rule wasn't retarded. Of course Leta shouldn't have been DQ'd for that, all I said was it's not the ref's fault and people should stop blaming him. It's the people at KeSPA's fault who grossly overreacted to the backho incident.

This just in: The rule is 100% retarded. Imagine a game in the NBA, and a player calls for a time-out, but when he makes a "T" with his hands, he puts his left hand on top instead of his right. The rule stands, that when calling timeouts, a player must make a "T" with their hands, and the right hand must be on top. As such, he broke the rules and his team is DQed. It's hard to think of a more minuscule, insignificant issue to DQ somebody for. BackHo's offensive gg? ForGG's scv/mineral glitching? KeSPA lets those slide but disqualifies Leta?

It seems a shame (imho) when steps were being made to make the events more fun and accessible to a wider audience (fan friendly things like Bunkie and Shogun etc.) other rules (toned down ceremonies and harsher enforcement for missed keystrokes etc.) are just taking the enjoyment out of the events and making them way more serious than they really should be. I'm wondering if we'll even get to see such hilarious and creative events as Rival Battle Break this year due to all these more stringent guidelines and the retirement/reticence to be out-going any more of some of the players who made the events their most colorful and enjoyable. Sometimes (despite only having been on the scene for a year.) I have to admit to saying to people; 'I miss the old days.'

However, that point aside, DQ'ing him for typing "pp" instead of "ppp" sounds like a joke. In fact.... it's still April, maybe this is KeSPA's idea of a joke! Wtf can "ppp" stand for anyway? Pause Pretty Please Please Please Pause Please Postphone Playing

Netizens in Korea have really strong opinions (although this might change if internet anonymity keeps on being reduced as it seems to be doing here recently.) and the Sparkyz fans (along with those of MBC Heroes after the Ruby incident.) are liable to make their feelings known in a very public manner. I don't even think people should rationalize about him maybe not him being able to see the screen, come on guys The fact is Kespa is full of crap. And teams are way too effin modest. They need to step up their pride a little bit. They practice all effing day to play in a very high level match. The point is alot of things. One to express skill, Two its for the fans and families enjoyment, and three its for their pride in doing something really quite incredible. For once I want to see a proleague match where some real intensity happens between the people. Theirs no staredowns like their is in MMA. Like remember the Brazillian top team and ChuteBoxe rivalry in Pride FC? Those guys are ready to cut each others throats after some fights, or ref stoppages when one guy is on the floor getting soccer kicked. Of course that won't happen in E-sports for many reasons, and probably wouldn't exactly appeal to audiences. But I think its about time Pro Teams take some action against KeSpa in protesting ON THE SPOT, or during press conferences or whatever. These kinds of games SHOULD go on, especially for someone of Leta's skill. Sure they play thousands of games, but we want to actually WATCH them.

- He obviously didn't intend to type 'pp'. - KeSPA is fucking stupid for making such a rule. - the 'GG/gg' rule is equally as stupid. I don't think they should force you to say anything or make ti so you can't say anything else. Ex. That toss player(can't recall his name or any other info) who did a proxy but his zealot spawned on the wrong side of the gateway that he wanted and rendered his rush useless basically. Sure I would admit I lost, and that it is my own fault for not having testing that proxy location before but ffs I wouldn't say 'gg'. Do people even know what 'gg' means? Good game? How is that a good game? More like 'epic fail' then alt+q+q. - KeSPA ref did his job I guess, so I understand not flaming him, but fucking KeSPA, ERGGG. - It was obvious that he isn't using the screen thing as an excuse. His screen obviously fucked up. God dammit, this ruins my day a little. Respect for KeSPA just dropped enormously.

Heck, since "pp" isn't a real request to pause according to KESPA, why did the referee pause the game? He should be fired for pausing when the players didn't request it! Damn game breaking referee. ![]()
