I've followed the guide step to step and I've encountered a problem which I actually encountered before when I just wanted to record games. It's not possible for me to select an Audio device or controller, nothing is there in the drop down menu.
E.g. I can't select anything when using FMLE for Audio and I can't select anything when using Camtasia at options ---> audio. Because of this, I'm unable to record and / or stream with sound.
I've tried a few things to fix this, reïnstalling the Audio Controller's driver (not a soundcard, it's onboard) and updating it to the latest version, but nothing worked.
I'd appreciate it if anyone knows the answer to this problem.

The bitrate of the stream XXX you are publishing on the channel XXX is too high.
The maximum bitrate of your streams is 500 Kbps, but your stream is being published at 548 Kbps.
where can i change that ? in flash media live encoder or where ?
|
ps there is hidden link on camtasia site with download for every version!!! on german or english or other langues !!!!
anyone interests ?

Yeah in the Flash Media Live Encoder
Its to high because you have your video bitrate at 500 but also sound for 48 probably, so together its over the limit either lower your video bitrate or disable your sound.

Whenever I am streaming on mogulus my stream flickers. It will play for 1 second then go black then play for 1 second and so on and so forth. Is this a bit rate or lag issue?
Whats happening? Why can't I stream a smooth video?

(it's free btw) Once that's done, you run manyCam and choose your source (set it to full desktop) and then when you open livestream.com, it will stream it for you right away, you just have to chose the manycam camera (no need to run anything else but manyCam and your browser)
It was easier for me to get it working this way, but I didn't check whether the quality was better or not and how to control when it's recording or not, but it seems to work fine.
I tried Manycam and it didnt work with starcraft.. it didnt show anything.

You might have to low connection, try to decrease the bitrate and see whats happening. What upload do you have?

I'm having trouble setting up Camtasia Recorder. I'm using Vista and have downloaded Camtasia Studio 5.02 and when I go to tick off 'Live output capture' under Tools > Options > Video(tab) on the recorder I get an error that says "The 'Camtasia Studio Video Capture Driver' must be installed to use Live Output. Please install the "Live Output Support' using your product setup program." + Show Spoiler + Can anyone help?

Procaster can't capture full screen SC afaik. I haven't tried yet, but unless it can use Camtasia as screen capture program, or allows codec change to the TechSmith Capture Codec, it won't work full screen.

Read the entire post please. You can change it in FMLE. Lower the video bitrate to below 450 if you're using 48 as audio bitrate.

You sure you didn't turn on auto-adjust in FMLE? You're from Australia, so you probably don't have enough upload bandwith to support decent quality streams. See if the same thing happens when lowering output resolution and bitrate.

When you install Camtasia, there's a screen that asks if you want to install Live Output support. My guess is that you just clicked speedily through the installation and didn't see it. It's unchecked by default and therefor not installed on your system right now.

So with the new livestream thing it looks like FLME doesnt work anymore to start the stream. But when I use their built in thing on the website with camtasia it doesnt record at 640x480 even though camtasia said its recording at that and there's no option to increase the video size anywhere on the site. Even when I use procaster. I'm not sure what the problem is but if anyone could help me that'd be great. I've also tried multiple camtasia versions.
Windows Vista 32bit 4GB RAM Core 2 Duo T9300 2x 8700M GT SLi
It worked perfectly fien with just camtasia and FLME before they had to go and change everything.

I tried procaster i didnt get it to work with bw.

I think they still allow FMLE. Where did you get this?

When I linked FMLE encoder to my stream and clicked "start" it said it was live and broadcasting back on my mogulus channel it wasnt showing up. It just keeps saying "your channel is now live balhbalhb" over and over again.
