I'm just not smart enough to do this I guess =( Sorry to bump this. I'm kind of in the same situation as him. I get this zoomed in error when trying to livestream. It like shows my command center and scvs but nothing else (no minimap, food/resource count, etc.. too zoomed in to see that). When I try to plain record a camtasia video it works perfectly. The resolution settings are set just like they should be in camtasia (640x480) and in FLME as well. + Show Spoiler [My FMLE picture] +I have restarted my computer after setting the resolution to 640x480 and I am starting camtasia recording first like someone suggested earlier. Nothing seems to be working. Any ideas on what might be wrong? You're streaming bitrate is above the 500kbps maximum, but that shouldn't be causing this problem. Do you see the resolution screen for camtasia when clicking on the little wrench next to the Camtasia blablabla driver?
Sorry so uhh, clicking on that little wrench doesn't do anything for me. Not really sure what the problem is. When I try to livestream, it shows the video in FMLE, kind of like a video preview. That is totally fine as well, it is just the livestream shows zoomed at like a small resolution.

Do you have AutoLive on?
If not, are you sure you're cueing your FMLE feed and not your Camtasia feed?
For clarification: In your LiveStream studio you should cue your 'External Feed' not the 'Camtasia Studio Capture Device' feed.

I'm not sure if others have had this problem yet, but I just spend about 2 hours trying to enable my stereo mix. In the end I used a program called Virtual Audio Cable and it worked great

To be honest I don't have a clue exactly. Actually you'll laugh at me but whatever.
I decided to completely uninstall everything and just start over. It could have been a couple different things that were fixed during the reinstall process.
1. I skipped rebooting after installing camtasia the first time (I know ). 2. In my FMLE the XXX part I replace with my channel name, it might be case sensitive. I put "TetrisSC" when it should have been "tetrissc" I guess. 3. Before the reinstall my livestream didn't have the External Source option that you were describing. It does now. This could be caused by case-sensitive channel names though too.
So yeah, I'm guessing it is because I didn't have the right capitalization for my channel name in the address in FMLE.

I tryed with Camtasia 5.02 with windows XP and I didnt get the same screen as Rage.. I think I did all you wrote I do not get it.. Seems so weird. It's wrote "live input mode" with audio etc disabled and a small button "option" with "recording" in red. Its really not the same as you and I got 5.02 version. Help is welcome T.T

Some of the interface isn't the same so it doesn't look identical to his screenshots, but the step-by-step text was still accurate.

Can you please explain how to make sure or even infact cue your "extrenal feed".
My livestream studio has Video Source : Camstasi Studio Video Capture Driver as the only option in the pull down menu

I'm 100% sure it's because we didn't have the External Source option in Livestream studio, the problem is I still don't .. I've tried reinstalling more times then I would care to mention.
I've also taken the liberty of clearing out my registry after a few installs to make sure some settings didn't linger while hidden.
I still can't get this to work =(

Ok! 1 step closer. I've found the exact problem. Now we just need to figure out the solution.
In Livestream studio, Broad cast Live Tab > Sources > Cameras Tab > I only have JPCarron's camera - Video Source: Camstasia Studio Video Capture Driver.
I am missing the "livestream" box with the External Feed Pull down as an option completely
Any help would = WIN

What is the FMLE log telling you? Can you connect to the Flash Media Server?
Are you exceeding your max bitrate?
is your FMS URL typed in correctly (case sensitive, correct channel name, correct username, they're usually different)?

Thanks everyone! Especially RaGe =D

I set up the camtasia recorder and the adobe flash media live recorder, when i try to go live it doesn't work. Adobe flash media live encoder goes in a loop
disconnected. Re-establishing connection, attempt 1 reconnected to FMS/3,0,1,123 Stream[sMi.Rei] status: success Stream[sMi.Rei] Status: netStream.publish, start network status: netconnection.connect.closed status disconnected
No idea what my user name and channel name is, I thought my user name is smirei shouldn't my channel name also be smirei ????? how do i find out? when i go to my channel it says
sMi.Rei smirei
it has both!!! WTf?
UPDATE I changed the channel name to smirei so both channel and user name should be smirei
still not working same shit looping that disconnected and reconnecting bullshit
UPDATE need to update something, on the Broadcast live tab on livestream, where it says smirei's camera, it actually see my streaming, but it's not playing on my livestream ( if the webstie sees my camera why does it not go live??) , it says cued clip: livestream [By Autopilot] when i pause that autopilot it just resumes in 25 seconds. man this is pissing me off
man if livestream cameras sees my destop, then why won't it go live???????????????
UPDATE set bitrate to 350 let's see if this shit works
UpDaTe: It wokrs!!! but volume is too low.

Yo...
i fixed the zoom in problem. The problem was that whenever i stream i get a zoomed in result.
If you have that problem, you can change the FMLE version (download another one). You should download FMLE 2.5.
gl streaming xD

question, when someone streams their games does it use the bandwidth from the livestream site or that persons internet connection?
when i was streaming for the first time i remember streaming for like 3 days and then when i went back on my account(on the livestream site) it said under the GB usage that i used 40 gb's, i got scared so i closed my account because i only have 60 gbs dl space per month.. the thing is i really dont know if the gb usage on livestream goes into your dl space for your internet connection

Are you stupid? Of course it doesn't use your own connection for relaying. That's the whole purpose of using Livestream - that your own upload isn't good enough to stream to other people.
