However, it does not occur when I'm not using audio. I have no idea what I've changed to cause this to happen.. I'm running audiorepeater.exe (twice for my mic and in-game sounds) and I'm using Camtasia along with it (although it has nothing to do with the sound). Does anyone have any ideas on what to do? It's clearly an audio problem but I have no idea what I can change.. I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit FWIW

1, Open camtasia (edit: version 5.02, running Vista) and set Start to F9 and stop to F11 2, Open encoder and start it 3, Press F9 4, Open Starcraft 5, Press F11 6, Press F9 7, Colors still messed up. Any idea?

Any idea? you need to do the F11/F9 thing when your game starts. not when sc starts, when you're in an actual game and you split your scvs.

Vista x64 Camtasia 5.02 Disable any webcam you have attached to the computer by going into the device manager from the control panel or unplugging it. I had a problem where my firefox kept crashing as the software for my webcam automatically started up when I was on livestream. Even though I disabled the f10 hotkey it would still do some weird function in camtasia, to fix that bug bind control + f10 or something to a function and that'll be fixed. @Rage: My livestream when Im playing sc or even just looking at my desktop seems really zoomed in, should I adjust my camtasia settings, if so how?

+ Show Spoiler + ![]() Found a fix to that zooming in problem that I had. On the top left it'll show a zoomed in camera preview of the video. After you start Camtasia and the Encoder, autopilot will automatically turn on your stream when you are on the Studio Page. So when you see the black screen on the live preview don't be alarmed and click the cue button. Remember that there is a large delay between the stream so the live preview will be black for a while, wait about 10 seconds and then there you'll see a good resolution of the video and starcraft when you play it on full screen. To address problems people have been having with lagging starcraft. Mess around changing affiny and setting priority. I spend the better part of the day today finding the perfect balance. Keep in mind that your browser will also end up taking a ton of memory, I put that on a separate core than the encoding. Oh and make sure starcraft is running before you start broadcasting (like rage said) and check frame rates on encoder.

Most people that have had the zoomed in problem (including me in the beginning) had this because the virtual camtasia webcam driver isn't set at the good resolution. Did you reboot after setting it to 640x480? Might wanna double check the 'default live streaming resolution' or whatever it was.

Yeah I rebooted and then it worked after I adjusted a couple settings, thanks!!

EDIT: just to check, I changed the input on the encoder to 320x240. When I did this, camtasia didn't crash, but the encoder did! Each program works by itself but they don't work together. help ![]()

Nothing seems to work. I honestly need a detailed instruction set on how to get rid of the zooming issue. Thanks!

FMLE can control camtasia's settings so you don't really have to adjust the resolution in camtasia at all. Yeah technically it can, but if you dont set those default settings it often crashes for me when FMLE is forcing the output size for camtasia.

When I record with no livestreaming, it records beautifully, i can send a nice clean 640/480 video to anyone who wants it. I'm just not smart enough to do this I guess =(
