I was just in shock when Jaedong decided to 5 pool Skyhigh when he beat Flash on the same map. The first thought I had was, "Cheese?! He sees Skyhigh as a bigger threat than Flash?" But then I remember the Destination game and I was like "ahh, yeah." It was just one of those "whoa" moments.
And as I read this back to myself it is apparent that I suck at saying what is on my mind... -_-

@GTR: I don't see it.
@Ozarugold: I'm guessing his mindset went something like: "REVENGE" and "I can do whatever I want and still win"

Jaedong's mindset is amazing. Natural born killar ez
Thx for the translations!

skyhigh has such a great mindset
it's ridiculous how composed he is

Awesome. Thanks for the translations.

All you people going "Jaedong why did you 5 pool TT_TT" watch game 2 and think about the amount of fatigue that Jaedong felt after that game Its hard enough for some of us to Control 1 Control group of mutas, Jaedong was controlling 2 This may just be my opinion, but i think Jaedong went all zergling aTtacK agianst sAviOr because he was tired. I'm pretty sure that when well rested, Jaedong would fight with mutas. In the KTF vs OZ games, i'm pretty sure at the end of the fOrGG game, Jaedong was not playing as intensely as he was when he faced Iris I think Jaedong knew 5 pool wouldn't work agianst Flash, but he thought that maybe it might work on sKyHigh (plus he wanted revenge for previous cheeses)

lol Jaedong seems pissed. He wants SkyHigh's blood!

Just out of the blue, they really should have like Jaedong vs rest of the World special event. Something like Jaedong vs 4 players best suited to take him out. Personally I'd nominate Bisu, Free, Flash, and Skyhigh. That'd be something worth watching.

I don't think he has the skills to all-kill a team of the best players right now, although it WOULD be entertaining

Thank you so much for these translations!! Ah.. I'm SO proud of Skyhigh for stepping up as a young'n. I really got to witness firsthand CJ's cohesiveness as a team... and props to Jaedong for performing amazingly well even if he didn't all-kill. I just hope this doesn't ruin his mindset in preparation for the OSL finals...

Are you joking? :s
Jaedong is probably one of those players that practice the most out of any progamer, he is extremly dedicated and with that has SICK stamina. First of all - he didnt rape Savior the way he did because he was tired... (I've posted about this already), and secondly I can't see tiredness as a reason for this monster to 5-pool in the FINAL game he would play that evening. That was straight up a way for him to be able to say "Fuck You!" and at the same time bring home the trofy - sadly it failed misserably and I'm sure he's somewhat regretful about it, but I think this experience will only strengthen him.
Even if he had won with a 5-pool I would be disappointed. Beating him straight up after beeing beated by cheese is alot greater for revenge. As in "You can't touch me in straight up play, go back to school".

JD vs Savior; the mass ling was a bit all-inish.
If savior let's say squezed a backdoor ling scout, JD would have lost that game.
I'm not saying it wasn't the right thing to do, but it was 'putting all your eggs in one basket'.
|
I'll summarise:
CJ: Yay!
Jaedong: GRARRR JAEDONG KILL KILLLLL KILLL ::eats keyboard::
Progamer interviews are generally so modest and self-deprecating. Thanking the fans and teammates and whatnot. It's all very nice and helps you respect the players, but it's always such a breath of fresh air when you get an interview with Jaedong. He doesn't mince words.

That's what people fail to see. It wasnt "putting all eggs in one basket".
His spire was 50% behind saviors and he was sure to atleast do heavy eco dmg because he was given the opportunity.
I mean if you call that all-in, you can just apply that to any type of advantage a player takes over someone else. T,,T
Gonna stop "defending" JD for that rape now..

As much as I love savior, it's wrong to twist the definition of 'all-in' to defend him.

I honestly think this was one of the best ways this could have gone. Fucking Skyhigh doing a reverse all-kill on Jaedong and Oz?
That's just amazing.

Thanks infinity21!

I've been a fan of skyhigh since GOMTV season 2, when he blocked that ramp against Best's zealot on destination with the scv. What an absolute delight this series was. thanks for the translations.
