Would you be interested in a sponsorship deal? We could work out some sweet exposure for you. Donkey- We just want to buy the site. What is your business model?ManifestoCrusher- Our what? Donkey- How much do you get paid a month? ManifestoCrusher- Um, nobody gets paid. It is a volunteer site. Donkey- Yeah but how much do you MAKE? ManifestoCrusher- We pay our server fees with google ads and sometimes we make shirts. We don't make a profit though. Donkey- I'll buy your site. You know, I can't pay a lot, ut I could give you a few bucks for the domain and create a paid position. ManifestoCrusher- But we have about 30 staff. Who gets the money. Donkey- It could just be between you and me. ManifestoCrusher- ... Donkey- So how much for the site? ManifestoCrusher- One million dollars. Donkey has left the chat. TL is worth more than $1 million. TL is so amazing. This site hits the heart of all SC/blizzard gamers. There are so many knowledgeable people who grew up with Starcraft and understand what the TL staff does for us. There are so many who are willing to do so much for TeamLiquid. for the payment of having such a great community. Spirit is what makes TeamLiquid. If it was run under a commercial company intending to make a profit, it would never be as popular or appreciated. I genuinely thank the creators and admins for staying true to your comminuty. TL is made of hard work and love. I understand that TL is given the opportunity to make money based off it's hits and advertising, and I thank TL for not becoming what many money hungry asshole companies have become. Thank you. | ||
