I agree with statement.
It's time to start moving on to other sports if we want to find anything remotely close to Flash's current level of dominance.

Not something directly related to ELO, but I just noticed something impressive. The only protoss players to have beaten JD the last one and a half year is stork, bisu and kal. And the last two have only gotten of one single win each! IN ONE AND A HALF YEAR!
Funny enough though, stork has pretty much dominated JD during this time, with the outstanding record of 7-3.
Conclusion, if we would have eliminated stork, JvP would be the sickest thing ever!
+ Show Spoiler +He would had 97% winrate vs protoss during this time, instead of 86%, which is still very impressive.

Stork's record against JD doesn't even begin to make sense. His PvZ during that period is 57.4% with JD, 54.5% without JD and 70% against JD.

Let's see:
Bisu won against JD once in Proleague, which can happen, even to JD. Kal's win was his only win in a Bo3 loss in Bigfile MSL. You can pretty much discount that one.
Stork's run against JD can be broken down to this: Bo5 in Korean Air OSL Season 2, and everywhere else. Stork won everywhere else, and took JD to game 5 in that Bo5.
What does this mean? If you're Protoss, GL trying to win a BoX (X>1) against JD. It's not gonna happen anytime soon.
Speaking of BoXes, let's look at JD's and Flash's BoX run in 2010:
Jaedong: He only lost to Flash in Bo5s, who's GOD. He lost one Bo3 to Baby (we all know when that was), which was a huge surprise.
Flash: Lost 2 Bo5s (JD and Effort) and 0 Bo3s (now THIS is damn impressive)
His loss to JD in that particular Bo5 we all know as the power outage final. Controversial, to say the least.
His loss to Effort in Korean Air OSL Season 1 Final hurt him alot, but ultimately, I think that enabled him to become God. Just read his interview after he won against Fantasy in Bigfile MSL Semis.

Didn't Jaedong also lose to Flash in BO3 during WCG in LA? (Also, Flash lost to Jaedong in the Korea finals as well.)

I guess that people just forgot a bit how GODLY Flash has become. He is way over everyone else he still is. And if he plays near his peak he will get the double title. AGAIN.

Yeah, the Stork vs Jaedong stats have always puzzled me. Stork is a great player but his PvZ isn't really great. Yet when he plays against Jaedong, Jaedong never seems to have a really easy time like when he plays other Protosses. The Kal vs Jaedong stats are kinda the same for me too. Kal's PvZ has always been one of the better ones around for a while now and yet he always got slapped around whenever he played against Jaedong. It's really strange, but these kind of player relationships are always around (like Stork vs Sea).

^Maybe put some spoilers on that

Spoilers of MSL Group games:
+ Show Spoiler +Flash's vT and all-round ELO dropped to JD-levels... this is horrible. How does a guy who just set the new all-time vZ ELO drop 2 games of his best MU???

I figured since the entire thread has a spoiler warning on it and it's rather notorious for it, it'd be ok. Guess not :p Thanks to whoever put that spoiler in -^

Spoiler for MSL:
I'm actually not surprised that people finally beat Flash TvT. It's always been "close", but until today, no one cracked it.
Flash's v. T has been "shaky" for a long time actually. If you look at his recent games against good TvT players (Leta and Fanta come to mind), he was almost always at a disadvantage in the early game, then by some "miracle" (aka better management, confidence, perseverance, w/e) he would make a comeback and wtfpwn his opponent.

I honestly don't think it should be mandatory to make this thread spoiler proof. You have to be an idiot to click on Flash's ELO if you don't expect to be spoiled of results.

How is Flash's vT shaky when it is his best match up?

Over the past six months it hasn't been his best matchup. Over the past year it hasn't been his best matchup.
It's not his best matchup right now.

Fair enough, but I'd take Flash's worst match up over most anyone's best match up.
For reference, his vT over the last year is his worst match up, but still amazingly is at a 71.93 winning percent (as per TLPD).
