To nobody's surprise, FBH's hatred is common in TeamLiquid.net. When you combine FBH's great ceremonies and dramatic Savior N00b Bash (Oops! there I said it!), you get TeamLiquid Public Enemy #1.
As a result, everyone who let themselves be blinded by Savior's fanboyism ,or rather pity imo, misses out the greatest entertainment Starcraft can offer.
Even with more regrets, just sadness really, Teamliquid has grand support for pros likes of emo Jaedong and fat buddha July. Especially July...
July, the winner of 'nothing new w/ no meaning' golden mouse after Nada took all the glory, promised to do ceremonies on TV program (several times... I wouldn't even mention this if it was just once or twice). Instead, all fans got was a fat dude ACTING overly excited trying to look cool doing nothing. Who would've thought? He's fat.
In the other hand, look at FirebatOurHero. TL.netter in MSL selection thread was laughing at the group he was in. Such a pity they would mock. "LOL FBH" "FBH GONNA GET RAPED"
But only if you could just grasp a hint of his charisma...

While you July (not a single ZvT last season, + im enjoying thorougly his rapage against Flash in OSL) and Savior (just failures) fans mock at my hero. Just look at your heroes for a change. Do they have this kind of guts? Charisma? Not a dime.

fbh has always been my favorite player, and the fact that he dosnt shy from a challenge is awesome, i just hope he dosnt get knocked out first round so we can see some ceremonies.

How is Jaedong emo? I'm confused.
I hope FBH can really step up his TvP, I mean Stork and Jangbi must know what causes them to lose.

Well, I guess it's harder to appreciate these kinds of things when most people here can't speak or read Korean, but FBH is entertaining.

Yeah, I actually started watching SC regularly around last spring/summer. One of my first strong memories was of  firebathero dancing around  sAviOr after outlasting him in a great MSL match. Say what you will, but I loved watching him float his entire main base, then set it all up, then proceed to turtle like crazy into battlecruisers/medics. He stole my heart after that. Because of him, I also now root for Samsung KHAN.
As to his selection, I'm greatly worried for his chances. I mean, I love the guy and his crotch dancing, but he's really not so great at the TvP. It'd be a shame to have a player with his TvT and TvZ skills get washed away because he couldn't bring his TvP up to snuff. He makes Terran vs. Terran interesting, which is saying quite a bit for most viewers.

At first I didn't like FBH cause of Savior fanboyism, but quite a while back I switched because I noticed that FBH actually had the skill (though not S-class, but if he can pull this off, he might as well be S-class imo) and he has the charisma (whether "asshole" or not) that so many players lack these days. Plus he's... interestingly looking... yet not extremely ugly either, which is quite entertaining because his face is easily recognized and brings around a lot of talk (or flaming).
He's also not afraid of a challenge, not afraid of losing (well perhaps he is, but who isn't), and he doesn't mind embarrassing himself just to get some laughs or show that he's good sport (ie, self-heart ceremony). Plus he does a lot of unconventional (and hilarious) builds when he feels like messing with a player of far lower skill level.
So ya, I'm cool with him as long as he keeps his shirt on and stays out of duck shaped flotation devices.

I'm a big fan of sAviOr and fbh. They're among my top 10 favorite SC players.
FBH is just awesome, it's hard to hate him. And that little translation from the group selection makes me love him (no homo) even more.

I think if Savior and Firebathero cross paths again and Savior loses, he should jump up and outdance Firebathero. Imagine the pure awesomeness that would bring. I think it'd be funny to see Savior dance~
It'll soon become a battle of ceremonies as the two constantly try to outdo the other. That'll bring the ratings~

He has balls, that's for sure.
I still don't like him because he's one of Samsung's Aces, and even though Stork has my respect FBH doesn't. Everybody, excluding Stork, on Khan lacks my respect. It's a team of snipers, more so than OGN, able to produce mechanics players that snipe matches from more deserving teams.

I fail to see how your obvious pro-terran/anti-zerg fanboyism is any different than that from fans of players like Jaedong, Savior, and July.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing againt FBH. I like him, and his antics are a positive force for the starcraft scene.
Sadly, the same can't be said for your post.

From a purely StarCraft point of view, Firebathero is one of my absolute favourite players. The guy is a phenomenal sc player, and I really hope he does overcome his TvP problems.
