Once I've noticed that isn't is the Goliath's. It just shows as a screen of static (and not the cool looking guy).
Why is this?

You probably have noticed that the encoding works in lots of little 8x8 pixel blocks and sometimes when the OBS moves slowly it looks like the ground jerkily 'shifts', this is because rather then recalculating those pixel blocks they re-use ones from previous frames to achieve better compression. Ahem, so since the Goliath avatar moves very subtley the compression algorithm tries to use prev-existing blocks in that area. The pre-existing blocks are, of course, the static that appears briefly when you switch units. Unfortunately this static represents a lot of motion so it gets picked up strongly, while the subtle breathing of the goliath does not. If anyone is more an expert on MPEG-style encoding then me and wants to correct me feel free, I am no expert, but I believe this is what is happening. ![]()

If you know what a keyframe is, you can see the golaith's animation face thing move slightly if the face moves through a keyframe. Every other block other than the golaith's ends up moving a lot more, hence why youtube actually animates that block.

Reread my post, i covered that.
