From what I've seen from the games vs Larva and Soma, our Zerg players lost the most games to a crazy Dragoon Speedlot Corsair "timing". Basically Pluto just has so much that Zerg can't defend. It doesn't even need storm.
The way the bot creates such advantage to finish the game off with that timing is purely through unit control. It opens with a typical gate expansion. With garbage sim city of course but it never dies to ling runby because the probe pull and micro is just insane. It also rarely dies to hydra bust thanks to that insane probe pull, and because of the early dragoons which essentially serve as mobile cannons. And also because of that it never has to build more than 3 cannons (none in the main btw) and can use more money to pump units.

I mean, if you taught it to wall in properly it could in theory do the same build without needing crazy micro?
In the games its not hydra bust, its just getting an insane supply lead and bowling over the pro zergs with zealot dragoon and corsairs
Generally it's just really good at getting higher supply than you as well as having perfect unit control, its builds and strategy is probably garbage in the hands of a human compared to pro builds
What it might be doing is cutting probes at a smart time though, rather than always producing up to max saturation it might be feeling that it can just get up to 6 gates and pump units which would be delayed if you keep up the probes
I'm curious if many new builds will come out from studying Pluto's play or will it all be "this is garbage if you don't have perfect micro"
Like I don't understand the TvZ 1/1/1 marine/tank/vulture push, if any normal person does it, can't it die to basically 12 speedlings? You don't even need the muta the pop except to kill the one wraith
I saw some interesting things
-Artosis noticing a 2 fact vulture expand build got more vultures than 1 fact expand into 3 fact vulture but lord the timing must be tight
-Interesting ZvZ game vs Stryker where the Pluto went 3 hatch with low drone count on 2 bases to use scourge + ling flood rather than relying on mostly mutas.. Pluto has insane micro and multitask though
-The way it can just get tons of zealots and dragoons and corsairs early in PvZ.. must be something to that? You don't need to micro it well if you are like 30 supply up at 9 minutes vs Soma
But there's lots of garbage things like randomly late timings and misplaced buildings that it's builds need to compensate for like playing blind 2 sunks TvZ, literally instantly sunks on hatch spawn and again later
What's impressive is how well it can sustain an equal or better supply while losing like 4-5 overlords to corsairs or wraiths just because it's builds are late and it's simply leaving them around the map nowhere near its anti air
Same thing nearly beating Soma like 2.5 base vs the whole map it felt like
Or being competitive as T losing most of its SCVs to Reavers
170 supply PvZ army at 12 minutes with like only 40 probes and 2-3 bases (late mineral only expansion)
