I wish Microsoft could bring David Grant back to implement those features he promised. But it looks like the guy is doing pretty well at Valve now

He replied that it would be difficult. I can't believe six years have already passed. I wish Microsoft could bring David Grant back to implement those features he promised. But it looks like the guy is doing pretty well at Valve now I got a 999 year ban for asking where the 2v2 ladder is on their forums

Team ladder wasnt implemented, networking issues weren't fixed, the ping situation is terrible everywhere except in korea, there's no extra features implemented whatsoever. Shield battery does a better job providing features than the remaster did, and it costs 15$ to buy whereas sc2 is completely free to play and has a ton of non-gameplay related features. Oddly with this I agree. I was very disappointed that they implemented hotkey change options but then you can't really change them (I tried to change set camera location hotkeys, could not, then uninstalled). On a serious note, what else did they do apart from texture/ui stuff? Because apart from the carbot skins, and redrawing stuff on hd, there is nothing is it?

Second game is co-developed by Relic Entertainment and has at least RTS elements, if not a fully fleshed out RTS

Edit: Apparently convention setup starts today, so leaks are more likely over the next few days. Another thing that I have seen discussed is who is getting invited to the event. I have not seen many StarCraft content creators flying in yet or even talking about doing so.

They broke the friend lists, broke the join game as well with their weird change to check duplicated maps, broke timestamps on replay (the year is always wrong). They did fix the sprite limit that being said.

There is no clear big area for something new. Maybe in front of the classic stage. Even WC3 Demo seems to have a bigger section for itself. Maybe the game is not openly playable, or the map is intentionally misleading at this point. Same situation with the schedule. After the opening ceremony, the main stage is going to have "WoW: What's next", which helps get people to move around a bit. After that, there is an hour-long empty slot for the main stage. This probably has more information about whatever the new game is. Edit: Apparently convention setup starts today, so leaks are more likely over the next few days. Artosis said on his stream, I think on Friday, that he's flying there Sunday. So he's in Anaheim already. Also mentioned he'd do ASL casts from there with Tasteless, meaning that Tasteless is already over there (or arriving soon). Explanation for them being so early there was that they're going to film something. In fact, Tastosis already published their cast of ASL Ro16 Group A, where they are together in the same hotel room: https://vod.sooplive.com/player/206549369

They doubled the sprite limit. Also a few new ramps I think. But yeah, could and should have been more.

Brother there's so much they could do. If only our capitalist society allowed for it.
