But, since Bisu won the MSL, Stork was 2nd, and Stork still placed 3rd in the OSL. Savior and Bisu may be big names for being dominate, but what happens when they aren't in first place? Savior has lost his first 2 proleague games, didnt make it out of the Ro8 in the OSL or Ro4 in the MSL, and has only placed well in WCG (he is going, but hes 3rd, while Stork is 2nd). Bisu won the MSL, but was knocked out of the OSL by Flash, and his recent lack of play in the proleague (hes played 1 proleague game compared to Savior's 3, and Storks 2). He also has played a few less games than Stork due to the fact that he didnt make it far into WCG korea (losing to Light), while stork made it to the finals. So, while Savior and Bisu, are winning, big names, have won big names, they dont seem to be on that constant stream of winning that they were when they did win those titles (Savior is the most noticable). We will say from the end of the Daum OSL to now: Stork: 12-6 Bisu: 9-6 Savior: 13-7 So what am i getting at? Well in Nascar a while ago, some guy who i can't remember placed 2nd and 3rd for like 10 races straight, and was #1 in the points, even though he never won a single race. Thats what Stork is doing, he is placing well (2nd and 3rd) in most of the recent events (MSL, OSL, Proleague Finals (1st place team), and WCG Korea) even though he himself has not won a major league.

Ah, then it's obsolete for us because Power Ranking is way more entertaining. :3

Casy's record in the last three months is 0-2. I doubt that being 0-2 would ever make a player in the top 30, unless there were only 30 existing players. Also, Savior and Nada losing the most points would make sense if the rankings lasted a year because August was the month last year when they were tearing up the beginning stages of their respective starleagues that they would eventually win. Arguably no player was doing better than either of those two at the time.

stork will be #1 until the current leagues end, because Bisu will find himself in the finals of at least one of em, and Stork probably won't. Everyone lost points this month due to the lack of games, maybe Bisu's first MSL win dropped off?

The point of these rankings is exactly that they aren't exactly the same as tournament winner or world champion. Now while I would probably prefer a slightly different ranking system I don't understand why Stork is 'no.1 unworthy'. Yeah, he has never won a mayor league. But this ranking isn't about winning leagues per se. It's about winning matches and gathering point. Stork is no.1 at that because of his great Starcraft. Savior was no.1 for a very long time. And Bisu, he has basically the same score as Stork. They are basically sharing no.1. It's a ranking system.

That'd make September's rankings cover March through August (Bisu won on March 3rd), so these would be April through September.
