Just watched two insane replays played by this really gosu Z player named Crazy-Hydra. I will not say anymore because that will spoil the games but I'll just say that they made me jizz my pants the first time I watched them.
1st game is Min[Fou](z) vs Crazy-Hydra(z) and is on Peaks of Baekdu. 2nd game is also on baekdu and is a zvt against Fanta[shield](t).
www.battlereports.com Replay ID:32498 and 32499 replay titles: "Min[fOu] vs Crazy-Hydra" and "Fanta[Shield] vs Crazy-Hydra" enjoy

Yeah he's really good, warning though, equip your flame proof vest. This has been on gg.net for a while =D RR
|
|
he should change his ID to crazy-muta

If you're looking forward to these then don't read the fucking comments. Jesus, shouldn't have to use spoilers if the thread is devoted to discussing the replays in the first place.

Thanks for sharing. I too, jizzed.

Just curious, did anyone count how many scourges he killed with those 3 mutalisks?

the zvt wasnt impressive, but the zvz was certainly very good imo

impossible to do that on iccup lag t_T

I saw this a couple days ago, I felt bad for the opponent that he decided to make scourges instead of mutas. He would have had the upper hand and probably win after heh.

Yea, "okay". the thread starter had me believe i would see something amazing muta control. while it was certainly good, the terran had nothing to stop it and any good player could have done the same. the exchange at the beginning of the game was far more interesting than the ending
|
very nice his muta scourge micro is a bit different because they dont' go thru angles to kill the scourge he is probably spamming the mutas or something

The fact that he came back from the surprise barracks lift attack and after losing a spire, pool, and some drones, and totally destroying terran with some mutalisks is amazing to me. You would see most players turtle and try to recover from that blow, but he just kinda flew in and raped.
On August 16 2007 02:19 tKd_ wrote: very nice his muta scourge micro is a bit different because they dont' go thru angles to kill the scourge he is probably spamming the mutas or something he had ~350 apm in that game so you're probably right.

he should go pro. can't see even top tier zergs touching that muta micro vs scourge in zvz

hm ,,, go watch Korean film named " Juno and Jeni" maybe you know who is Crazy-Hydra lol

Does anyone know how to do the muta vs scourge micro crazy-hydra did? I mean everytime one of these "amazing" muta micro threads come up we just end up commenting on how great the replay is but not actually knowing how it's done. I know first, that it has to be on lan and obv u don't have to be a julyzerg to be able to do it as long as u practice. Is it just the fact that no one knows HOW to do it or what?

What benefits are there to using Ovies rather than larva, aside from wasting a larva for production?

He could be using patrol. Mutas shoot like that with it. But it has to be lan, on bnet your mutas will get hit by scourge or turn around when you use patrol unless you are \'lucky\'

Sure, if you have a handful of lings not doing anything whatsoever.

The movie is horrible. Unless you're a fan of extremely cheesy romances that involve 15-year-olds. And they mention starcraft in like 3 small parts; the movie isn't really focused on that. What's wrong with you? I get your point, so I said sorry. What else do you want?

I didnt mean that as another flame, just putting out a message.

Well generally when someone apologizes there is no point in reaffirming what has been said before.

first few comments would still be nice to use spoilers, sometimes i can't help but read first few commnets, anyway i watched them, that was some insane muta vs scourge micro in the ZvZ, that guys muta control is rediculous.

Really crazy micro no doubt. A friend of mine did more or less the same thing. But to our friends defence I must say that the terrans muta defence maybe was not top level. (no, you should NOT attack 7 mutas with 6 rines!) And I don't really understand why he went scourges instead of mutas... He had just killed his spire, and he had a sunken in his mineralline, then killing him with mutas seems to me like a better option than scourging his mutas and killing him with lings? Can anyone explain why he kept scourging?

On August 16 2007 19:40 Total-War wrote: Maybe it was a set-up rep, to show what he could do with his mutas? lol what
the zerg player went in with lings trying to finish the game off, neglecting saving minerals for mutalisk. the only thing he could afford to build was scourge. The zerg killed off his spire as well, so all he had to do was neutralize the mutalisk then win it with his superior economy/hatch count. he didnt take into account that his opponent would deal with all the scourge thrown at him with near perfect control. in hindsight its easy to say he should have gotten mutalisk instead of scourge, but you need to think from the players perspective

Yea, "okay". the thread starter had me believe i would see something amazing muta control. while it was certainly good, the terran had nothing to stop it and any good player could have done the same. the exchange at the beginning of the game was far more interesting than the ending If I were him, I would have left after my spire got killed the 3rd and also a pool while Terran had a fully running natural. Well, while it was cool that he came back from losing his spire TWICE and his pool, think about how the ZvZ went. He went pool first vs. hatch, his lings did nothing, he lost his hatch and he lost his spire. Winning with just the 3 mutas that you built 3 seconds before the spire went down is pretty impressive as well
|
granted this player's muta-micro is pure amazement,
I am still questioning why the opposing zerg did not opt for mutalisks when in fact he KNEW the spire was down, and he KNEW that crazy-hydra was in no condition to sac drones for evo-spores / sunks.
Makes no sense.

damn nigga. he got out of 2 auto-lose situations there :D very impressive and relentless with those mutas
