According to Artosis on stream just now, eliminating ASL English was considered a year ago, but Artosis and Tasteless made a big effort and took a pay cut to keep it on. Unfortunately it wasn't enough this time around.

If not, let's hope that there will be an english cast on AfreecaTV.

1.Why not try to communicate with the foreign fans to see if something can be done in a more positive and organised way first? We have shown that foreign fans can raise funding when required to support this game. 2.Both Artosis and Tasteless stream BW anyway, it is their life passion. They should be in the discussion to find a way forward, maybe involving the foreign fans. This feels extremely short sighted. If this is not the time to unite and start a crowd funding effort for each season, friends, I don't know when it is.

It has been the most exciting adventure for us to share the ASL with fans all over the world. We thank you for all of your love and support over the years. The ASL will continue and can be watched at afreecatv.com/afstar1. Communities and English casters are still allowed, and encouraged, to broadcast the ASL to their own fans through our clean feed on their AfreecaTV Channels. If you are interested, please contact us here! Thank you, AfreecaTV Twitch partners are not allowed to have Afreeca TV accounts (Arty just said this on stream). Obviously, Artosis, Tasteless, and most (all?) foreign casters are going to be using Twitch since they are casting for an english speaking audience. Also, people like Artosis and Tasteless can't give up their Twitch Partner status just to cast ASL (since you guys aren't paying them anymore). So, this pretty much does nothing. Let people restream it on twitch.

It's unfortunate, but we need to think of a realistic solution within the bounds of reality.
