All the stuff about manners and such still counts. As a player at that leve, you'll also be first in line to play in STPL, however in BWCL we focus more on letting as many as possible try playing CWs. We have internal rankings, try to arrange various events, friendly cws and a general desire for you to feel at home in what has become a rather active clan <3 Send me a PM if you're interested! | ||

[Requirements]: Activity in some form of gaming required. Thick skin preferable? That sorts itself out anyway. [Website]: www.clanx17.net [General rank]: lol - BW isn't really a concern for X17, but rather active gaming in general, some of which is BW. [Language]: English [Etc]: Clan X17 is still around. The very same one! We always want active game players of various sorts to come hang out. Clan X17 began in 1998 as a Starcraft: Brood War gaming clan, and was a central fixture in Starcraft for many years. Many clans, teams and players have some roots or connections related to our US East channel, which still exists. In this day and age, Clan X17 plays a variety of games and has an active Discord channel and presence. Join us for in-house competition playing Overwatch, League of Legends, Heroes of the Storm, PubG, Dragon Ball, Fortnite, SC2, SC:BW and more. Whatever happens to be going on at the moment. We also require loyalty, in the sense that you may not be part of other SC:R clans while you're in ReV. You should also take certain part in the clan, and not just "do your own thing". In return, we try to make things interesting for you. It's a two-way street. Previous .ReVs have a free ticket in, naturally! However, we're ranging between something like 1200 and 2300 MMR. We're open for all, but these days we're especially interested in people of higher skill to give our top players more playmates. [Etc]: We're playing in BWCL, STPL, have internal rankings (for those who wants to participate), arrange tournaments, the occasional show match, and overall have a rather active and friendly team. We also try to arrange friendly CWs from time to time. Our top players are very willing to teach their trade, and we have plenty of players with very low level. So I think people of all skills should be able to find their place in ReV. We welcome whole-heartedly people who would want to voice their ideas. As long as it doesn't get in the way of the core of ReV, we should always be open to new ideas and to give it a shot! In BWCL we focus on letting newer players play. If you're not experienced, but would like to gain some then I'd love it if you'd come join us and play in BWCL. If you lose or get smashed, then it really doesn't matter. You'll get used to the setting and get more comfortable with it, which will be valuable in the future as your skill grows (or if it doesn't <3). In the STPL we focus on having our best players play. So if you're skilled and want to be in a competative setting, you'll also find a home with us. I wish to build for the future. It's not good enough to collect the top names just to win, I wish to have a clan where we can develope our own talent as well. If you're higher skill, I'd expect that you play with ALL in the clan and not only the top players. No one is beneath you, even though it's understandable you'd rather spend most of the time laddering and practicing with others at the same level. You're not expected to spend your days teaching noobs, but we do expect that your clan mate is your clan mate. And for the lower levels, we may not expect to get to play with the higher levels all the time. It's not our right to have their time. The respect goes both ways. In conclusion, I don't care if you win or lose. As long as you "gg" and keep it up, I'm more than happy. If you're busy some weeks and such, then that's not a problem. However, if you're rarely on at all and barely feel like a part of the clan, you will not quite fit in. I also have high requirements for punctuality and reliability. If, for instance, you say you can play in the STPL and that you're free, just to suddenly not appear on game-day, then that will not simply slide (assuming there's no good reason). Nor if you plan a time and date with the opponents and don't show. Even if it's just a game, it's their time you're wasting. I don't expect everyone to be perfectly aligned with all our values and guidelines, as that's just wishful thinking. So personally I'd much rather you try it out before finally deciding, than simply assuming I don't want you - I think I may be a bit more including than it appears  I hope to hear from any of you! | ||
