I think the military will also provide some cool (social) experiences he never had as a progamer. Eventually he will do fine.

My understanding is both Afreeca & Twitch have a deal in place with KeSPA to prevent convicted matchfixers from streaming on their platforms. This only applies to koreans of course.

The "StarCraft: Remastered School Championship" is set to be held by a Ode Inc., a concert production company. Middle and high school students will be eligible to compete, with a total prize pool of around 20,000,000 KRW (10,000,000 KRW to first place). Applications and online-offline qualifiers will be held in January, while the final live event will be held in early February. No info has been given on streaming platforms.
It strikes me as a very odd tournament from a very odd company, but I'm glad someone is trying to help the BW scene out at the developmental level. I really wonder how many kids play BW these days, given the the popularity of games like LoL and Overwatch, and it will be interesting to see what level the finalists are at.

I hope there will be more tournaments like this to attract more young blood

What. There must be a good reason for this Maybe proleague is coming back and blizzard doesn't want team tournaments to overlap. One can dream..

No, I think you are wrong here, or at least definitely not correct.

This is nothing new, same thing happened with ATB S2 which never took place, was replaced by online GTB instead

They don't approve ATB because they can't milk out that much money from it like from ASL. Fuckers.
