I don't know about the short term but he's likely terrible for the long term. After all, Terror was actively shilling for illegal betting sites and one point. He was caught doing so and fined. A major TV station did a story on the terrible stuff that people do on Afreeca and Terror was prominently featured. In my opinion, his involvement in Brood War is a ticking time bomb and a potential PR nightmare if the press were to take a more active interest.

Also, Terror's fans tend to be very vocal in a bad way. These are the people who will flood the chat with insults like "has-been" when players loses games. Terror's viewers are mostly Terror's fans rather than BW fans. In fact, many of them are too young to have seen KeSPA-era BW.

The usual story streamers tell when explaining why they hang out with Terror is that he is really nice and polite to them in private. People often like terrible people who are nice to them. Also, in the echo chamber that is Afreeca, it's easy to forget that a lot of the stuff that Terror does is not acceptable in general.

The only potential positive is that he might get some younger people to play BW. I doubt that many kids will play BW though. It is not the most approachable game because of various OS/networking issues that must be addressed for online play. Furthermore, kids will need mommy's credit card to buy a legit copy. If not, they will have to find a way to download it without getting a virus. Apparently, many of the illegal copies distributed online carry viruses. They will also have to download a launcher, which some anti-virus programs will flag. The other barrier is that the game is in English. The kids would have to figure out how to get Korean language mods.
