^ Agree, extremely impressive imo. Surprised to see he actually played Nada 4 games lol. Nada rarely plays 1v1 and always seems to play UMS when I check his stream so pretty cool to see.
Even his game against Flash on FS today was solid. He had Flash contained, took a third, was getting defilers etc... Just so happened that Flash broke out right before consume was ready and Jaedong had to tap out. All in all, solid until the last portion and was good to see. If he keeps going like this, I can see him upsetting Flash in a macro game in ASL3.
Damn man correct me if I am wrong but I feel that Jaedong was winning this game hard. He contained Flash, got his third up, hive tech. He was already getting his defilers and all he had to do was to buy some time for consume and go to the late game with very good position. But he decided to suicide all his lurkers instead without any help of defilers;/
On the other hand, I think Jeadong is playing very very well now and if he will able to practice more, he will easily contest Flash - he just needs to mass more games and eliminate these bad decisions which are his weakness right now.

yep, agree. He was definitely winning it hard enough. I wouldn't say he suicided, rather he just contained Flash trying to get defilers up but Flash broke out at the right time.

Lol, what a fucking god mode beasty RTS player you are Mr. Lee Jaedong
he makes his reputation as the most committed practice beast easily true ..
we have seen jd practicing on fish as jiko asking ten twenty even more ''re?" to other pro's other pro''s struggled to keep up with jds stamina if he would get to easy high winning streaks he switches to better opponents..
also the commitment and fanatism is inspiring he would bangs his keyboard when he felt he lost in a stupid manner
true passion is what you see when u watch jaedong play star
Yeah it is awesome, it is inspiring to watch JD play. You guys already explained it well, it's the reason he is my favorite progamer ever. And on top of all that he also seems to be a genuinely cool dude

He also tends to place his nydus canal where flash can easily destroy it. I was watching many flash vs effort games and effort doesn't do that, he always places his nydus canal where it can't be easily destroyed. As for bad decisions, yeah I feel you, I'm a movie fan and even though movie is capable of s-class level play he tends to choke a lot.
EDIT: NM Jaedong's nydus canal placement was fine since it was in his main.

I don't play Z but that 3rd felt a little late. I wanna see it from Flash's PoV because it did seem like JD won most exchanges up until the contain.
edit: Oh wait it was vs 14cc. JD lost too much after the first small fight.
Whoa... Jaedong's English is actually pretty decent.
Not that great an interview, though. The interviewer (Hotbid?) seemed to lose patience with how slowly JD talked, and got pretty pushy towards the end, especially.
JD started to sound a bit tired of him, too. He wanted the interview to be over.

All koreans who wants University need some english skills. Most young koreans can use english a little. but JD dropped out high school. because of his career So his english is not pretty well....

HotBid did a lot of these interviews, it's always a bit awkward by design because he talks about stuff which isn't starcraft. JD probably was confused because of this but i still think it was a fun interview :D
So JD made a lot less than Flash/Stork last month. I wonder why that is? I always thought he has the most fans overall. Not that i dislike Flash/Stork but just a thought

I think it has to do with him not playing that much in February because of his finger problems
