Though I just keep it open in the background, and then more people come on, and easy games. People just have some ladder anxiety. Once some people start playing a few games, everyone starts.

Last night we had some KOTH and then some 3v3s going on in the evening.

Tnx Hi, I signed since Day 1, still no invite. It all depends on how your system fits with their needs for the BETA. What matters are your system setup and issues you have with BW (Graphics, Ports... etc)

Just to add to this, I prefer to ask this hereview instead of private messaging one of you guys so I can get input from all of you and so we have some public answers for anyone who was interested in using shield battery to run the tournament

Tnx https://shieldbattery.net/faq A computer running Windows Vista or later A graphics card that supports either DirectX 10+ or OpenGL 3.1+ A modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or IE10+ should all work) A Brood War installation, patched to the latest version (1.16.1) Also I'm a bit concerned about Shield Battery being taken seriously by tournament associations because of the plans for hotkey customization.

I'm not asking for this immediately (mainly as I don't have a computer running win7 at the moment because my computer is out of commission until I can get my hands on a processor) but I'm wondering what you guys would think of this idea? Just to add to this, I prefer to ask this hereview instead of private messaging one of you guys so I can get input from all of you and so we have some public answers for anyone who was interested in using shield battery to run the tournament No, if you want to run a tournament on ShieldBattery, it will have to be with people that already have access to the site. We're not going to make a random third-party tournament a back door for immediately getting invites, as nice as that might be for your tournament popularity. Thanks for your concern. We have the community's best interests in mind, and a deep understanding of the competitive scene. This thread doesn't need to devolve into another instance of this useless discussion again.

There wasn't any problems before i dont see why there should be any now. Part of what makes sc so awesome is that everyone is on equal grounds. Actually the one thing I would aprove to change also is not aproved by some BW fans. This time I do not understand opposition as I cant think myself about any justification. When I am against fixing of pathfinding, or autocasting, or removing 12 units limit its all becouse i believe it will change balance, game flow, game meta and "spectatorship" of BW and pottentially ruin that. However, I cant find any idea what can go wrong here when mapping is available. I do not love BW becouse its a game made for a rubbermen, but becouse it posses a quality that very few games have.
