I guess you're right, not many seem to be able to keep up with him in macro. Though his style hasn't changed much, I've just finished re-watching the 2010 WCG playoffs, quite similar to what he also plays now. | ||

And with flash's scv control I can see him even holding that some of the time. vs zerg maybe if he doesn't scout neither a 12hatch nor 9pool on the first position, he is just taking his chance. Or it is some star sense because there is no drone scout and he is confident in holding it on cross position. It will be certainly interesting to see when we finally have a 9pool. That said, 10th scout does that even make sense? I mean, only 33% of the time it can be beneficial. (33% of the time a 12th scv would scout the 12hatch in time for 15cc, too). And even then, is 17 or even 19 cc with 12 scout much worse off than 15 cc with 10 scout? | ||

10th scout is pretty standard and doesn't cost that much in terms of eco (11 rax will still be up). If i do 10 scout, most of the games I'll be able to 15 CC. If I do 12 as you say, most of the games I will not do 15 cc  The reason you want to scout early is because you dont want to make marines if you dont have to. As you can see, flash places second rax at 18 before even making a marine after he see's 12hatch.Oh and by 10 scout, i mean the 10th scv that pops out (at 11 food). Haha, but he makes them himself=) I've actually gotten some skill back and motivation by watching Flash so maybe! Well, misunderstanding in the count then. Standard is still double scout at 11/13 (12/14 food) though. btw. today when flash didn't scout zerg on first try, he did build a marine at 15 and did "only" 16 cc (when he didn't scout early lings on the path with his 2nd scouting scv) and on CB he knew that zerg was cross position so 15cc -> 16 marine would be fine. So I believe he likes it risky, but is pretty confident that 1 marine + scvs is sufficient with his control? | ||

The pool of potential opponents shrinks and people will start to remember you. If you go around doing nothing but proxies and shit people will just stop playing with you. | ||
