The scene is still in recovery mode and yet we seem to have a fight already :/ only a Bisu fan will see this as good news lol. no need to overreact here, I'm sure sonic and yellow will work out the scheduling issues, also its not as if these guys who were all progamers and big A-teamers especially sea who was MBC's ace never had days where they had to play both proleague and then run to another studio to play an individual league, so its not so much a date issue, but time of day.

He said at the end of SSL9 that he's done with competitions, but since then he has participated in a few events, and now there's talk of him participating in the KSL. What's up with that? To my surprise I find that, despite having been a Bisu fan for years, I would side with Sonic if it comes to a conflict. I think Sonic is far, far more important for the future of Starcraft, since he actually cares about the next generation of players as well, an doesn't just try to milk the fame of the legends. As far as I'm concerned, he could run the SSL10 with nothing but amateur players, and I'd still watch it. The difference though is that Bisu is sponsored by Kongdoo and so was probably pushed into playing this, most likely by contract. The bigger leagues with A LOT more pressure, like Sonic's, are on a different level to the games he has been playing as well. He said he was over the preparation and stress, something that isn't as big a of a deal for little 8 man events etc. Who knows, maybe he really is at the end of his time with BW (for now?) and is looking at the military.. so the people paying him want to get a little more from him before he quits.

Personally, I think all parties will come to agreement. I think the major obstacle with this is the lack of [sponsored] teams. People can't practice for all 3 leagues (SSL, LSL and KSL) without some kind of financial support because there's no sure bet that you'll get a podium spot (maybe unless you're Bisu, Killer etc) + Show Spoiler +

I'm rather still surprised Sonic somehow partner'd up with OGN.

That's their main money-maker. I don't think SSL is going to take over those spots. Furthermore, OGN's Yongsan live event facilities will be occupied on those days. 2) With offline leagues, you need people to attend the events in person. Most people are only going to be able to attend on Friday evening through Sunday. Let's not forget that SSL10 must be a success commercially (and therefore in terms of viewership) in order for OGN to keep broadcasting BW. This isn't just about this iteration of the league. Once Sonic got OGN involved, his hands were effectively tied with regards to the schedule. The only question is whether they will be able to delay SSL until the end of the Kongdoo/HungryApp league. As many others have suggested, I am also eagerly awaiting Sonic's announcements on the actual schedule... The rumors are scary, but we know very little for sure at the moment.
