Im not saying they are bad, just compared to some other picks.

Im saying that when PGR made their choises before TL they chose keyplayers compared to when TL chose before PGR they chose "mediocre" players so they can chose better next time(but then its PGR21 before TL again so its a waste...)
According to Reach, he is the fastest learner he has ever seen. He start bw only like 2/3 years ago. Infact, his bw history knowledge is so limited, he didn't even know what the map Guillotine was.

well we know our war room tried it's best, and damn we had a sophisticated war room by the sounds of it, nazgul yosh midian thats tl.net at it's finest baby

too bad they let teams who run out of minerals get players who put them over the cap, and somehow our logo got shrunk like a prune (sabotage?) ... but it's all good we're still gonna do a better job than any other team would do with these obstacles

watching on the lineups i can say that every team (except SClegacy %))) has three or four players which are very good - and i cant really say who will win in their battles. So i think main battle will be in actual clan-wars and proper player\race\map picking will be the key to victory.
On my opinion in terms of overall players skill - the best teams are FiFO and REPS.ru

It will definitly come down to player/race/map between some of the better teams.
Captains will pick who gets to go up against who right?

Well I don't think skill means it `all` why they're picked.
It takes a fool to remain sane.

I think the overall best team is Bw.De. They also have the best player in the tournament(Jang)
Reps.ru have the strongest lineup, though PGR is close behind.

Still I think ScLegacy made the best picks by costefficiency(Super, Pie and ZelotITO), and I stick by that. I expect great things from Pie, and Super. I might have been slightly blinded by SEn and Super are imo the best nonkoreans in this tournament as Androide and F91 arent competing.
Live2Win is awesome. Happy new year scarabi!

wasnt there like a prize or reward for the best player in each "spot" so to speak, the one with best score overall in the tournament for its own spot? well i might be mistaken and thinking of something else~~

ah wait, so the captains won't pick the matchups?
More mirror matchups then I would like
pgr and TL will have 6/8 mirror matchups if the matchups go by rank.

Schiblor was a no-pick for us. No matter what. There were a couple of those players in there that no matter under what condition we would not have picked them. MAYBE I agree with Schniblor being the better pick but we didn't even have to think about it, so I don't know who's better

You are wrong because the choices we are talking about are nal_keke, siz)o.ov, midian. Nal_Keke was according to us together with Sea.Jang by far the best pick. That we even came close (1 team before us) to picking either of those two players is on itself ridiculous, but had we been 5th we would have had Nal_Keke. Same goes goes siz)o.ov who we had as our #1 pick in second round and we had the opportunity to pick him in third round (because we choose our #6 of round 1 in round 2). Again we were one spot late.

It's a neat and interesting set up.

The # 3-5 players despite most of them not being anywhere near a top level can still win a valuable player award by winning the most games for their team as they are usually against worse players as well. So those that have a strong #4 - #5 can consistently win some games there. While the #1 / #2 guys will have to play the other top gents, and some dangerous koreans.

Interesting stuff. =]

Yup, and I think this will be fun =]
Too bad we couldn't get our #1 pick koreans, or leg, or midian, or day (for the later rounds).

I think maybe picking me later would have been better, since I'm not exactly THAT likely to be picked

The thread on pgr21.com was funny tho, I could understand some of what they wrote (much more than I thought I would be able to at least :D), perhaps mainly because much of it was english words written in korean

Like 'midian underrated player'

And I saw my name in there, and of course had to get someone to translate what they said about me:

Uhjoo:
nice things about you
Uhjoo
you use unusual builds
