I think relatively to our spot (6th in line) we had the best picks out of everyone. Three times it happened that a player that was by far our favorite was choosen by PGR (5th). We have a strong team, but not as strong as others since we were't first to pick.

Most importantly though out of 8 players we have 0 players we are unhappy about, which is better than what goes for most other teams who all have 1-2 players they would rather not have in their team. In the ending we thought we could get leg+advocate because the other teams had no minerals but they spent their whole budget after 7 rounds and since we were 6th to pick we couldn't take those guys anymore.

We're also very glad we have 3 TL contributors in FA, Ret and Daze. We have a nice and fun team with a possible shot at some good results. The logo contest is what will probably hold us down to take the crown, though. But again I don't think any other team would have had this good of a squad when being 6th to pick.

dont know if anyone really knows how difficult it was for mani/naz to select the players for this team when a) our logo got beat by a line of text and b) pgr21, the team that had the liberty of choosing before us half the time, took 3 of the exact ppl we were going to select the very next turn. that's pretty much just the surface of things, but wait for mani's writeup =]!

nicely said naz. i still think we can make a mark because we have a good balanced team, unlike most of the others who blew their budget on their first few picks, then were scrapping the bottom of the barrel the rest of the time

and i apologize to mani for the message i sent him during the drafting

My rank of the teams

#1SCLegacy is the best team imo. SEn, Super, Pie and ITO are very good picks. The rest are players who have atleast one MU they can do very good in ie Day ZvT iNc ZvZ

#2Bw.De. Jang, Zergstory, and HitEmUp great choices inside all 3 races. They also have a high standard on their lowest players like Squall and Strelok who are very good.

#3Reps.Ru. Very strong first four players. The others like Leg, and Advokate can beat very good opponents in their best MUs.

#4FighterForum. Great players. Much pressure on Draco to fit his bill, Other[S.G], Tempest and Sonjjang carries this team imo, and it all comes down to their shape.

#5PGR.com. This team has Midian and Kaaz who are some of the best ZvT/ZvP players outside KOR, and in addition they have a very good korean lineup. This team is the darkhorse imo. It all comes down to Midian and Kaaz delivering the goods if their koreans somehow slip up.

#6TeamLiquid. Heavy pressure on their two koreans, but players like Fisheye, and ret need to shape up and its all good. LX needs to avoid PvZ, and he'll be a HIT. Ognis, Plto and Daze are players who are hungry and will play with their hearts

#7Gosugamers. The pride of the nonkoreans. Mondragon and Testie has to do well here. White-Ra and EX are imo around same level, and they're well practiced now that its WCG time.

#8YGClan Well their two koreans have to kick ass. Dove needs to get Zergs, PJ needs to avoid Zergs. After those 3 theres Sarens and Odin who hold a high level, but Im afraid its going to be short if any of these doesnt show up.
Live2Win is awesome. Happy new year scarabi!

tempest)is(, only[s.g], kimtaerang, active, draco, nal_crayon, quirion, ovvi

I dunno I really think this is an average team that we can beat. Active is not good, Sonjjang is a huge question mark. Tempest/only are very good but not the best. Draco said something like his schedule can only be from 2:30 to 5:00, which is the reason we didn't pick him, because we didnt think he would show up for his matches. Then they have Crayon, Quirion, Ovvi.

We felt PGR had the best picks by far. nal_keke, polaris[arnc],siz)o.ov those three were all in our favorite choices they are really highly rated in terms of skill (not minerals per se). Add to those 3 monsters Kaaz, Midian, Idra, Oldy and Fayth and you have a very solid team.

TL.net chose before PGR21 many times aswell

Those times TL chose before pgr21, tl chose Kosiro(V good), FA(not so good), theognis(bad), daze(bad)... so i think TL only have themselves to blame here (

i`d like to point one thing - GG team is really good in terms of: "WTF, where is our first line-up for clan-war in 21:00" ?!?!?!
These players dont have any language barrier and most of them are willingly participating and giving their best in online events.
And the non-korean teams who get koreans - i think they will have troubles with that.

Here's a list with the picks we had in mind. They go per round first 6 were options for round 6 and so on. As you can see according to our list there's some teams out there with very bad picks. But we will have to see about this. I still say PGR has by far the best picks and they were 5th, meaning the first four teams didn't do so well. I like Reps.ru's picks as well but am really unimpressed with SCL and GG. Seeing the spots they held when making the picks I really think they did horrible. Regardless they might still do good since picking first was a huge advantage in this thing.

Nal_keke Dong-hyuk Lim Z Korea 376
Sea.Jang Hee-jong Shin T Korea 340
Kosiro[Shield] Jae-uk Lee Z Korea 272
Polaris[Arnc] Hak-jou Kim T Korea 244
Tempest)Is( Jae-young Park P Korea 334
Siz)FanTaSy Myung-hoon Jung T Korea 292

Siz)o.ov Chang-gyu Hwang P Korea 370
s2[fOu] Seung-suk Lee Z Korea 280
Sea.Pie Ju-hyun Park P Korea 322
Only[S.G] Hyun-sik Jung T Korea 300
Nal_Paris Yong-sam Shin T Korea 310
Sea.FinePix Chul-min Bae T Korea 358

Super Minglu Zhang T China 268
Lx Luo Xian P China 364
Pheonix66 Chuanhai Zhuang T China 252
White_ra Aleksey Krupnick P Ukraine 352
In_Dove Ho Young Song T Korea 440
MidiaN Jamie Hallam Z England 296

PltO Jonathan Walsh P Sweden 128
ret Jos de Kroon Z Holland 212
theognis Michael McClelland T USA 80
ReasoN Paulo Cardoso Z Brazil 146
SarenS Pierre Guivarch T France 164

In round 4 we would try to save some minerals with a good/cheap pick so we could continue some good buys in the last couple of rounds and not be stuck with people we didn't want (like other cheap players we considered less good for example. After round 4 things would become so messy we couldn't really make a list beforehand, but during the draft we were on MSN with Manifesto, Yosh, Midian and myself to make sure we got the right people in.

actually, pgr chose keke over kosiro but both are good.
It's next round that TL chose siz)fantasy over polaris which is about even I think?

We won't know if our picks are bad until the games are played. As Naz said it's a fun team.
GG has by far the funnest team

You're only looking according to skill. FA is no Korean pro but he is pretty damn solid. With this pick we could go for more expensive players in round 7 and 8 (Fisheye and Daze). Same goes for Theon. Both him and FA are better than you might think otherwise we wouldn't have choosen them. They are cheap+good whereas other teams in round 7 and 8 have gotten cheap and bad players. So in order to be able to make good picks in later rounds we picked those players. They are very good picks and we are happy with them. You can't go for the most expensive player all the time. I don't know why you say Daze is bad though, he's a pretty good player.

Bottom line; others choose TOP players in round 4-5 and ended up with the worst in 7-8. We choose to pick good/cheap players in 4-5 and end up with good/top players in 7-8.

Another thing I would like to say about GG's team is that I don't agree with their choices in accordance with skill/minerals, however their strongest point might turn out to be that their players will actually show up for their matches. In that way they might have done a smart job. SCL is totally unexplainable. Guybrush putting SCL as his #1 is very wrong.

Hehe I think it was funny how GG picked, and I wonder whose idea that was. Maybe Testie was the one behind the picking ? If Testie had to pick nonkoreans I think hed pick like that. I might be wrong though =]

Ahahaha SCLegacy... LOL
LOL oh man... they just went after name value it seems.

I am honestly quite happy with our team. I think I could see us vs Fifo in the finals if Fifo presents their A roster every time. This is gonna be a fun event for everyone...

Cept Day cuz he's on a clearly losing team. T.T sorry
