IF it does happen it will most probably be reduced to a short 8-team cup spanning a week or two. The post made by sonic is basically him thinking out loud after having had a chat with maybe a few players, that's it.
Edit: Note that he has only announced himself(his company) as the sponsor, nothing else. This is not set in stone. Was there like an update somewhere that I missed? And where did you get the 10th november date? Either OP knows something I don't or it's quite misleading. Like Snipe, I interpreted the post as Sonic scouting if there's still interest in this and asking for some opinions rather than an announcement. Edit: I can see some updates regarding the format of this (i.e. asking people their opinion) but I still can't find any formal announcement with dates/confirmed lineups :/ Looking into this, but based on this information sadly have to denews for now until we know more. Someone should at least link him this thread. Might help motivating him or something. I would if my facebook didn't crash every time I opened it... Somebody get on this ^^

I wonder if there's any chance we'll see Light, since he's back into BW now, although he doesn't seem to be streaming publicly yet. I think that would make MBC by far the strongest team.
Also, if this is actually happening, Sonic should figure out a way to crowdsource some funding--it worked for Valve, after all. Maybe something with Kickstarter-type donation levels? There must be at least a few dozen people who would pay for signed memorabilia or the opportunity to Skype with their favorite player (COUGH COUGH BISU) or something. We really need a fairer way to support the ex-pros than balloons or else more high-level pros like Flash coming back to BW will actually be a bad thing because the non-S-class players will get starved out.

Hmm, just found out about this, and just like any other broodwar fan I am sure, I'm pretty damn excited.

It's basically been removed for now, as it's still unconfirmed and GTR hasn't said yet what his sources were for the detail.
