So i want to try getting her into BW with SC2BW. I can't make her play our "retarded control" units, no smartcast, overkill etc.. as she played SC2 for 3years (and her first RTS). Maybe if maybe i can make her like SC2BW i can try to make her play without automine and 12units selection :p So i found some but not a good channel with new contents every week/day. Figured since a lot of you still watch BW, maybe you tried the same thing. Tryed with Sospa games and ... well.. didn't work :p I ask you because SC2BW thread is not filled with passion. More like Bug Reports :p | ||

More like Bug Reports :p I say just get her to play BW? anything with bad graphics just needs some getting used to imo. back when i used to play dota I switched over to HoN for a couple months and came back to dota and at first I was just like omg it looks so weird o_O but after a couple days I got used to it. I just did the same thing with smash too, started out playing 64 started playing project M and then finally started playing some melee and at first i was like woah melee looks really ghetto compared to PM but I got used to it real quick. I think BW art style is very unique and easy to take in. sure it might look sorta ghetto to someone trying it for the first time but like the clear concise distinctness of the units and vibrant colors really grows on you. | ||

More like Bug Reports :p I don't think anyone really plays SC2BW anymore. I would try Starbow, since it has almost every Brood War unit and actually has a somewhat active community. I don't remember the Youtube channel but they have a somewhat active community at starbowmod.com and there's an official ladder and stuff. Might be worth a shot | ||

Yeah i agree but she's stubborn I agree i'm a lover of old games and bad graphic doesn't bother me at all. But putting someone to BW to someone that played only SC2 is tricky  I'll try Starbow as Goshox mentioned but it's not the same. Maybe i'll try to find really good VODs from sospa and try again :-( Thx everyone | ||
