That was such a downer to see it closed SO fast. Had plenty of potential to turn funnier than it was. Disappointing. Unrelated: http://www.bild.de/news/inland/poker/poker-millionaer-36564518.bild.html TL;DR ToT)Psier(, apparently consulting poker players and millionaire, disappeared and nobody knows where he is. Edit2: http://www.stern.de/panorama/johannes-strassmann-deutscher-poker-profi-spurlos-verschwunden-2120080.html Stern on the same topic. Apparently a dead male body was found, not confirmed if it is Psier.

SBWI seems to be inactive and it's been more than half a year since TLS3 concluded. Soo yeah... there are two tournaments running currently in teamliquid: maroon starleague crimson starleague there are also iccup cash tours and some defilers(not as popular as before) tours once in while

But it's not dead, any KC mini tour is almost as stacked as a TLS.

http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/1nfz7l/ In it, snipe mentions in Sept 2013, there were 40,000 active viewers at one time, including 10,000 for Bisu alone. I've been checking out the Afreeca BW streams the past few weeks (May/June 2014), and never see more than ~6,000 viewers total, for all BW streamers; max I've seen for Bisu is 3,000 (who easily dwarfs any other BW streamer in audience size). I was really surprised to see these numbers drop (40k to 6k) so precipitously in a few months time ![]() When we/TL talk about a SC BW resurgence, is that because of the new and ongoing tournaments (SSLs, Sonic, LoveTV, etc), or is there more data justifying this belief?

Understand that those numbers included the chinese viewers, who branched off themselves since they have their own restreaming platform now.
