+ Show Spoiler + Matchmaking algorithmic changes. One of the main problems with ranked play is that foreigners cannot easily match with Koreans, even when they have good latency connections, and people are using VPNs as a workaround. This new algorithm should match people using actual ping data rather than estimates, and will hopefully match folks from outside Korea with Korea as long as their ping data looks like it can achieve a good TR. Similarly, regardless of the presence of a VPN, if the connection is not good enough for a good TR connection, they will not be matched with Korean players. It should also be noted that since we do not expect a high population on PTR, combined with our PTR infrastructure being largely in Korea, we’re mostly testing ranked stability as well as pulling some useful real-world data from the server. Has anyone tried this to see if it made any difference? I wonder what "good" TR means, 16+? I live in midwest US and would like to play again if I could play Koreans, and I'm wondering if this would help? I know there's a VPN out there that people use but given that I could play Koreans on iCCup back in the day, I think it's dumb that I need to use one here and don't want to bother setting one up and paying for it. | ||

playing 1's with flash and last score=+ Show Spoiler + flash 6-0 larva last 4-0 larva larva occasionally smashing the keyboard and rageing out after being picked apart by last 1-1-1 vult/leezu update: + Show Spoiler + last/flash decide to bully on larva last is lifting off cc at 5scv onto semi-island.....while larva opens with 6zergling falls for it and taps out , getting a taste of his own medicine for when he went 5 pool vs last and taunted last while doing it earlier in the series its the most funny thing to see im (larva is now trashing his room) im sure there will be a vod up soon of this event.. flash highlights of the series :youtu.be | ||

However the game changes during the end phase, if neither side gets overwhelmed then you both save up over 6000 minerals and use your special ability. Protoss and Zerg usually use it at less than 20 seconds so that all the units on the map get converted to the caster's side and it gives the maximum amount of time to attack the temples. (since it takes 20 seconds to cast the special and units spawn at 0:00) Terran usually uses it as a counter to P and Z cause they only convert their half of the map while planting spider mines at opponent's side. Terran's ability also damages the temple each time the special is used. Protoss special = mind control all units Zerg special = infest all units (turn all units into zerg) Terrran special = convert their half of map + damage temple with nuke | ||
