well actually last week i got bored and googled "guillaume patry" and found that hes been programming/computer related work. I found him on a bunch of news groups asking for help with SQL and crap. This was his original intent.. he had no inclination to become a progamer. it just happened and he kind of got carried away with it. Hell if i was in his shoes, id do what he did 100 times over. I thought it was pretty brave of him to say "im not good enough" and leave sc/bw. grrrr is still the man. I'd like to see the day when boxer or yellow quits without saying "IM NOT GOOD ENOUGH" or "IMBAL".

Back in the day he played more in line with how Zergs generally played, and now he plays like most Zergs do now. Like most players he favors certain things and he happens to be one of the top Zergs. BUT I dont see how he "invented Zerg as it stands." There are so many other top(Pro and amateurs) who have contributed along the way. Just because you see something from Yellow first doesnt really mean he invented it. I think people do this a lot with Boxer too(Though he is more deserving of the credit for creating certain strats and styles). and im a huge yellow fanboy. I just think your shit is wronnnng.

YellOw's storm zerg style isn't entirely his own, true, but he made it popular. July claims him as major influence, he has Yellow[Name] copying him, and for the longest time he was the Hope of Zerg, so I'd consider him at least a the greatest catalyst of modern zerg, if not the inventor.

+ He used to make reavers in almost every game he played whatever the match up was, no one made that before him, or i should say no one WON with that before him. So he was definitly SUPER creative !

It had nothing to do with him apparently making up for some sort of illusory "talent deficit" with his "superior brain power". Jesus christ you kids are newbs.
