Unofficial World Champion - BW Edition

I don't know if any of you follow the SC2 forum, but if you do you might have noticed a topic about the so-called Unofficial World Championship. It's based on a similar concept in soccer/football - basically, the First "Unofficial World Champion" was the First team to win an international match (England vs. Scotland, of course), and every time another team after that beat the champion, they became the new champion. It works the same way in SC2 - the winner of the First GSL ( (Z)

FruitDealer) became the First champion, and any player to beat the champion in a series at a live, broadcasted tournament - there were some (mostly joking) splits created when the champion (Z)

Bear went a while without playing, but still pretty straightforward.
I was wondering, though, What would happen if you applied the same thing to BW? It may be a bit harder to track, as some of the data about long-ago tournaments (or whether they were broadcasted, etc.) might be missing, but it would still be fun to figure out who retired/left with the title, or even if it's still bouncing around SOSPA games... The Tooniverse Progamer Korea Open (i.e. the first OSL) seems like as good a place as any to Start. So, just to demonstrate, here's how the title would go based off just the data in TLPD...

If it's too difficult to trace we can always go for the Savior -> Bisu "modern BW" transition since Savior pretty much beat the very best of his era.

TLPD is missing some entries unfortunately. Because of the way the UWC is generated a few missing entries could completely change the result.

Is there any other source to back it up, though? Because I don't know anything about BW history, and I don't want to spend too much time figuring out more champions because you're right, one mistake could ruin a lot of work.

BoxeR, 3rd Game-Q Starleague) but there are a couple events in between that seem like they might meet the UWC criteria, like OGN King of Kings. The help of anyone who knows a lot about BW history would be greatly appreciated...

Except the case where a player would retire after winning an OSL, which would make him the UWC forever, which as far as I know never happened, then it would be Jangbi.
