Oftentimes a person will simply be interested in the fact that you are a foreigner, so you become sc friends . Thats how I joined ErOs. Although it always happened after playing games with them on ladder or just random custom games. Usually non clan members who join channels get kicked lolz. youre in eros now?
I was but didn't log into BW for over a year or something so my account doesn't exist anymore, now I'm in Mess clan.

How did you manage that? Isn't ErOs a strong korean clan or am I thinking of something else? ps what's your iccup rank? C- at least?
I hit C+ in 2010 but I played mostly sc2 for the past 3 years (and when I played BW since then it was only on fish). I joined Eros late 2011 thanks to a guy named ErOs_Witty. I'm done with sc2 forever tho so its back to BW/dota for me .

Yea not saying it's not possible for people to join clans , fams or teams without this but I think it's nice to have a little organization / list as to what is possible to join and the ladder requirements of certain things if you were interested ( and if there was a requirement ), this is only meant to help the people who maybe don't know how things work on Fish.

from what I experienced most of these korean clans/teams dont really play w/ you...they just want to chat. I was in qus for months and no one wanted to play just talk. Was pretty pointless, if there's a clan that actually plays w/ you a lot let me know.

One thing about joining any korean Clan is that it takes time, you don't even want to join and immediately start asking for games, wait and let them ask you, give it a little time before you start asking for games, when you join you are a new face, and also a foreigner, so give them a little time to adjust to you and the fact theres a foreigner on there team, be cause alot of them don't speak to foreigners alot so they could actually be intimidated. Also it shows a little more respect just waiting a little before you ask people for games, like you didn't just join just to try to beat them.
a Fam is like a group of people from several different clans and teams that play together, participate in other events vs other Fam's, ect. ect.
