I think Jennifer Garner could also play Kerrigan but there are plenty of suitable actresses for that part. Raynor has to be Bruce Willis, hands down. :D
I like Hugo Weaving as Duke and Connery as Mengsk. I chose Depp for Zeratul because he can play shady roles quite well. Still, he doesn't look much like a fighter.

Isn't she a bit.. soft, for lack of a better word, to play Kerrigan (especially once she goes evil).
I don't really like Angelina Jolie.. but she seems like a pretty good choice for Kerrigan to me.

Well, we'll just follow the book, we'll cut few odd things like this Bombadil (spelling?) guy to fit in 3 films, almost 3 hours long each, we'll get nice effects for chapters 1,2 etc and few huge battles, hire cute babe and handsome man for main characters and that's it - here comes dollars babe!
And, by "we don't want another star(ship) troopere" I meant - Starship Troopers sucked.

LOTR is great... and if starcraft is to be a movie... peter jackson should handle it ...

So far every actor mentioned for Duran sucks. None of them are soft-spoken enough for the role. Lawrence Fishburn might be able to tackle the role but it might remind people too much of The Matrix.
Robert Duvall I think could kick ass as Duke. Gene Hackman could pull it off too.

i agree that duran choices suck so far. All the people proposed for him are either badass or ridiculous, while he had more of a slimy quality.

Well, she played a role in this crappy martial arts movie where she flew around and kicked everyone's ass. Forgot the name though, so I guess she can be hardcore. I cannot come up with an actress, wo has a rather evil image.

Kerrigan - Julia Roberts (i dont particularly like her btw)
Edmund Duke - James Gandolfini
Jim Raynor - Bruce Willis (ive always thought raynor looked like him)
Samir Duran - Definitely Wesley Snipes
Zeratul - Johnny Depp - thats quite good actually although i'd have trouble picking other non distinctive protoss users, like observers for example.
I'd also say,
Marine - The Rock.. its about all the lines he could handle
Firebat - Silvester Stilone
Wraith - Keifer Sutherland
Ghost - Forest Whitaker
Thats all i can think of really
