I confirm.
I have a question regarding the qualifier - since on 7-8th of December a lot of young people in Bulgaria usually have some plans to go out of town to celebrate (mostly students), some deciding (regarding 2nd place of the group) games weren't played. The following matches were not played
+ Show Spoiler +InJo vs ZergbOy INF3CTED vs ZergbOy Nichy vs ZergbOy Nichy vs INF Nichy vs TheMarine Nichy vs InjO
Nichy and TheMarine are the least favoured of those. ZergbOy is not famous with his zvz, but is good at his zvp. Thus there was a good chance INF3CTED, ZergbOy and InJo could have been tied with a 5-2 score for the 2nd place in the group. Should I tell them to play all their matches that are left until some date and if tied to replay until someone beats the other two? Or should it stay InJo as 2nd?

Nah it's not amazing, the prize pool is dwindled. Random individuals of lesser skill than the best in the region are getting free rides because of "friends". And The community that was so fucking upset at a $38k prizepool is fucking ecstatic over less than 10% of that money. Whiny little cunt? I stuck my neck out for him staking my reputation as a sponsor and a player. I should have known better when $38k was announced and he asked me to help. He repays me with shitty organization and the community repays this shitty organization with wild fervor because everyone is too damn lazy to take the time to do it themselves. So glad I'm done with this game, this kind of shit is a joke. The original tournament is still possible, it always has been just a matter of getting a few extra hands. I put forth the idea thinking that it wouldn't be too difficult to get 1-2 extra people to assist. Running a fundraiser of that size with 2 people is not feasible without me investing far more time than I'd like to. Also, everyone whom I had asked to help on that particular project rejected... Like, I can still coordinate everything for a fundraiser + Tournament of that magnitude, but I'm not going to do any of the work for it (i.e. If a bunch of people banded together and decided to do it, I can tell them what they need to do).

Although I dont really understand why there is no Sziky in the brackets, takes away the winners credibility if you didn't beat the best.
And great to see the new season of Gambit's cup! Will there be new teams joining in, or the previous ones battling it out? Previous ones.

Will Elegant still be casting? and why oh WHY is Sziky not going?? He is the best, and we all want to see him play! If he can't go then ok, but please invite him! I honestly just didn't think of Mad... No other reason.
I hope so... Though he's rarely around to check on.
;; If there is enough demand to see Sziky, I'll move him to the top of the backup list.

I'm insulted you honestly think you can say "I was going to run a $38k tournament but had to scale it down to $2k because I couldn't find an extra person" and have people believe you.

It's more the fact that Eywa cancelled the 38k tour he was going to host because he "doesn't feel like dealing with most of the community" and he "didn't feel it was worth my time". False promises suck, big false promises suck more. I agree, though if community members feel like picking it up, I will gladly tell them about what the plan was in detail and guide them through it (since I've done this for personal gain before - So I know very well what I'm doing).

If that's true, i'm sure that there are people who want to help in this project, lets start searching people who would like to help? I saw in topics many guys who offered their time and help o_o
Eywa: Could just make a official thread, when you say all info that you search help?

Generally, people offer help and then claim that what is asked for isn't the type of thing they want to help with. Also, I've made 2 threads of the sort (one was closed due to me offering to give them a % of what they earn).

Otherwise, it's possible.

Eywa- i have another question, this money 38$K or every other amount of it is only dedicated on LAN, or you can(not you, your people) host every other kind of ONLINE tournaments?

it's a bit offensive to me (backup list) I do not understand, so you can delete it from there my name Thanks for the opportunity!

i dont really understand why sziky is on the backup list, even if he`s on the top. Everybody wants to see him play. He should be seeded i think.

Well that's why there was a lot incomprehensible threads, you dont say it clearly, somehow avoiding important questions. If we do something for broodwar community we need to cooperate each other, to make a big success. I believe you love BW, no way you not because you did many things for BW in past, but really there is no point in this, if you won't cooperate with us, share every information you can, etc..

I'll lay out the math TrutaCz. He didn't have the money, he still doesn't. the $38k was a lofty goal that was never achieved.
Yea I'm throwing you under the bus now since you've removed me from skype and threw me under the bus with your comment about not having help. I volunteered to you 30-40 hours of my time to complete this fundraising and said Mote was doing the same thing. You said Mote had a high number of venues to Sell these "Hockey cards" and that was the last of it. Wtf were you trying to do with this whole thing? Please, don't say i didn't fucking try and help by saying everyone rejected. I was right the fuck there with you when you proposed the idea.
