Brood war server status: FIXED
Can somebody please provide information on this. All the battle.net servers for brood war are hacked "frux > you"
and nobody can join or host custom games. This is a problem because it's preventing me from testing a map I'm working on. I can't find any info on this ANYWHERE on the internet, it's been ongoing for over a day now.

Yes, can't host "Use Map Settings" (UMS) games. Surprised no one has commented on this yet. Been going on for nearly 2 days I reckon.
Top verses Bottom games are still fine to host and join. But if you try hosting a UMS game, no one can join it.

Thanks for the replies. ssj114 is correct, some sort of hack is preventing people from joining UMS games. You can host but nobody can join, and the slots freeze if you open/close them. Someone said this has to do with some sort of clan flame war going on

its been around for more than 2 weeks, just recently the immature hacker does it everyday now. Nothing to do with clan war or anything is all hacked by this immature guy name "ILLUMINATUS" from east server. If you talk to him he'll just tell youll hack ur cd key

It's actually been around for months, but usually stops after a few hours. I dunno, I've been able to host through it before, but I haven't been on b.net for the past 3 weeks. (Mostly on iccup now)

Yes I confirm if you try to join a legitimate UMS game, this guy's hack makes it so you can't play any game whatsoever in UMS. Biggest virgin geek ever.

On USWest/USEast/Europe/ and Asia you can't play a single UMS game WOW!!!! Lamer.

Ya I saw this guy trolling Bnet like six month ago too. All he did was create a huge amount of
Forgotname>USEast and Thatsamename>Arandomclan games that you couldnt join.
I actually went to that clan mentioned and the admin told me that hacker got kicked out of the clan for hacking and now he was throwing a tampertantrum lol

What exactly does this do? For what I understand, it removes hosted games? Soooo, the games hosted on battle.net, and once this is run you can't join any of them?
Once injected it removes the listed games on Battle.net for everyone. so it effectively dissallows anyone to make a game; or join a game as there are none to join.
Basically kills Starcraft Battle.net.
The author is HellInsect. Once you start running this, it starts disabling games. But yes, basically all it does is kill hosted games.

That was probably not very smart to post that link.... lol, this is kind of a ridiculous hack, it is so sad people do this to UMS games

Criminal investigations are underway and a warrant is out for the arrest of the hacker responsible. Glad to see that he'll be behind bars soon enough. Justice will be served for infringing upon thousands of peoples' right to enjoy their purchase of blizzard video Starcraft Broodwar. I am going to sue for damages inflicted, no matter how small, because of the inconvenience these hacks have caused.

WOW this shuts down ALL GAMES ON EVERY SERVER FROM BEING PLAYED. Not just UMS, the newest link shuts down Melee/TVB as well. It got updated or some shit. Now it is public, one person using it per server can fuck up every server.
