not too surprising imo. If he was thinking about joining SOSPA, he probably wants to bring his level up higher. He lost to killer 2-0 several days ago so even if he entered, his chances of winning the whole thing isn't likely.

No, he just lists him twice. For some odd reason.

JangBi could sometime take down Mong, Ssak and such (like 50/50), he still can't take S-class players like Killer. He needs another season of training I guess, he needs Stork to give him inspiration for builds.... Btw I think the next generation of BW players will include the guys who finished their military training to be back playing the game. Kal is almost done his duties so he might return to us. And honestly if SC2 continue to falter in Korea after the next PL. Kespa might even null the contract with Blizzard and reintroduce BW again because that will obviously give them more domestic profits.

The thing is, are there any real new players for broodwar in korea? without new blood there cant be a real scene.. and kespa picking up bw again? even if they drop sc2, they will just focus all of their money on lol i would think^^

Sospa will introduce no one, i don't want to break the bubble. But people get into those activities because the surrounding pulls them into (friends ---> pc bangs, couch ----> TV). Sospa's target audience is mostly people who miss BW. To get new people you need Kespa there is no way around it, you need teams ,sponsors, TV. 90% of new blood goes into LoL as we speak, because it is popular. Showbiz works that way, the things that are popular are flashy, BW is not flashy anymore, in the current state, you kinda need proleagues, screaming girls, osls to have that. :[

We just have to wait for SOSPA to grow bigger than just Sonic and couple of other people.. And I think that, it's going to happen, sooner or later. So the whole idea is not completely lost yet !!! Chuseok is a huge holiday that usually means a lot of time with family, often travelling home to the town where ones parents grew up. As such Sonic has decided to not begin SRT17 until after Chuseok. Nothing is set in stone yet but as of right now he is thinking that Saturday the 21st of September seems like a good day for the first matches. Are there live matches you can go and watch at any stage in the tournaments? Like finals.
