I dont know if this goes for other teams in Korean esports (i would bet KT does this aswell) but the Korean league of legends team Najin sword will play todays match with a black mark on their uniforms in memory of Violet. Good to see that support can be shown regardless of games.

Oh for crist sake... coming back from holiday without ANY internet or 3G at all and the first thing i read, is violet lost his fight against leukemia...

Rest in peace my friend! i've got a ton of respect for people fighting this long even if its unlikely to recover!

Violet fought his disease with the ferocity and tenacity that only progamers have. Even though he may have lost, I will always remember him as the strongest progamer ever for having fought leukemia.

Wherever he is now, I hope he is teaching the afterlife the true nature of Protoss.

I was going to bed on my last night of my honeymoon with my wife, we were both really tired after a long and awesome day and she fell asleep pretty quickly on my shoulder while I was lightly surfing the web on my cellphone and TL specifically and ofc I bump into this... It didnt take very long before I started to cry, and as tears was dripping down my chin and my chest went up and down my wife wakes up ofcourse so we stayed up abit longer and talked about Violet before going back to sleep...
I just.. It's so damn sad! I really thought he was going to make it!

Rest in peace! Such a rolemodel in many ways, especially the way he fought his disease with high spirits. I think everyone can learn something from Violet
