LoL isnt spectator friendly at all unless you play and know whats happening, unlike sc2 where its like "oh, this guy has the bigger army and more bases therfore he is winning" etc where you dont necessarily need to play in order to see whos doing better, obviously its deeper than that though but its just an example. Please. You can use that simplification for anything. "Oh this team has way more kills, towers, and gold. Obviously they are therefore winning." You also don't need to play in order to see who's doing better. It's not about seeing who's doing better, it's about understanding Why one is doing better. There's no way to deny that for a non LoL player it is nearly impossible to understand what is actually going on during a battle. In starcraft, it can be easily seen "Well he had a better position" or "Well he had more stuff" instead of "well they had better items" or "well these hero's work better together". The latter takes either more understanding of the game or a commentator who is going to repeat what the items do every game, which is not exactly a good thing. You say it as if SC2 is so much more straightforward. There are plenty of times where the "bigger" army doesn't win (e.g. immortal/stalker army vs a maxed roach army). Or you can make the case of drop play with a smaller standing army can eventually win over a bigger immobile army. I think you take for granted your own SC2 knowledge and assume "everyone" will be able to discern who is in a better position or not. Both games are/can be confusing for someone that does not watch those respective games. It's way too presumptuous to assume SC2 is any easier to understand WHY someone is doing better than LoL or any other game with strategy.

LoL is super fun, if you guys haven't given it a chance it's worth it. I've been told the same thing but I got up to like level 5 and just never played it again. However DotA2 I have my eyes on. So much Blizzard biased.. Truth be told, I find watching LoL more enjoyable than watching ScToo.. ScToo is just Warcraft in Space with the way it is being balanced, and I was never a fan of Warcraft.. sorry you lost me at scToo.

Guess I'll just watch the korean commentating now (not that the english one was too good either way)
Kang Min fighting!

Yeah, I know. This was feigned misunderstanding. All I've wanted to say is that SC2 fans really should not cry "Betrayal!1!" when a BW legend switches to a dumbed down game solely to earn money. Rocks in glass houses and all that.

Ah... looks like this is becoming a trend. I'm not sure how long SC2 will last in Korea with LoL being the new best thing.

My worship for this guy reaches such heights that I might consider playing LoL !

And Kang Min has been my favorite progamer since forever and I'm happy to see him come back regardless of which community he decided to join. League of a lot more competitive than the Starcraft community gives it credit, so I seriously advise all of those who have tried to stay away from it to give it a chance!

Okay, guys, anyone saying this means that Korea thinks SC2 has no future is wrong. It just means Nal_ra likes LoL more. Like, that's it. There's nothing more to be read in to.

Good for him.
KM really slimmed down from the military

Saddening, but I guess LoL's where the most ex-progamer job opportunities are at right now.

If someone said BW is a crappy game, I guess you would never defend it too, otherwise you're just validating their opinion because deep down you know it's true... you wouldn't need to feel like you had to defend BW?
I don't think BW sucks and I enjoyed the (limited) amounts I've watched but that's what your analogy is stating.

If someone said BW is a crappy game, I would take the gentleman gesture and ask him "What is your favorite game?". Come back with as much research I can possibly get. Then next time we meet, I will slowly but painfully dissect that game and tear it right in front of his face while holding on a calm posture.
Watch the madness begin.

What the. Makes sense, but is kind of weird to see. I wish him the best of luck.

Dota2 is still extremely new, and anyway I think Valve's focus with Dota2 is currently mainly on China. LoL has a much bigger presence in the scene, especially in places that don't have a previous Dota1 base. I'm not surprised LoL is doing well in Korea.
