To me as long as the mouse has good weight and shape (mx300/g1) the drivers dont matter because who in reality notices if its 20000000dpi or 500000dpi. I sure dont. I used to play sc on a ball mouse.

For me at least it has nothing to do with DPI, it has to do with the fact that the Windows max mouse setting is WAY too slow for me. I play on Mouseware max acceleration, max speed, therefore using the Windows drivers is like a snail for me. Without Mouseware support, I may look to returning this mouse soon, or if I can't, maybe will just give it to a family member as a gift.
I am sorely disappointed, but hopefully when they release the mouse in the United States they realize that if they want to have the "G-Gaming series" mice, they better have some pretty fucking unique drivers for them.

Yup, that thing is sexy period.

ok I got it -- just DO NOT install any mouse drivers and the mouse will be alright.. if you isntalled logitech drivers you wont be able to change windows sensitivity
Its one of the feature of the mouse.. it has no driver whatsoever and its just really "plug and play"

they dont releasy drivers to that mouse. they said in a email to me that they have made the mouse so, it doesnt need any mouseware. i think they just wanted to keep the mouse simple and more gamable =))
so it has all u need in the mouse allready, just adjust the speed in controlpanel. btw. i love my mouse, its sexy and good to play with.

I bought the mouse some days ago an its great!!!!!
|
i cant change the speed with standard win drivers - same with mouseware :/
|
I dunno I uninstalled every mouse drivers I had (razers/mouseware) and I can change sensitivity!

Yeah, Windows has it's own "driver" built in, allowing you to use a mouse without extra drivers. However, the Logitech drivers let you set the speed much higher than the Windows driver allows, which is exalted's beef with the mouse.

G1 > G5 right? Will it suit every1? I've got big hands keke! Also another thing, which mouse pad would you recommend for a G1 mouse?
|
func 1030!
And some1 mentioned something about mx510 drivers for g1 , wont work tried = (.

G1 = mx300 with better sensor. G5 = MX500/510 with laser sensor. If you have big hands you might prefer the G5, I have big hands and the MX300/G1 design is too small. Try 'em out if you can. You should be able to find an MX500/510/518 at a local store, they all have the same shape as G5. G1 might be harder to find to test.
I have a Steelpad QcK+ mousepad for my MX510 and it's very nice. Extremely large, but quite nice. Almost any quality cloth surface will be good though.

I just bought a logitech g1 aswell, sorta pissed there's no drivers, since I swear to god there's dumb acceleration in the windows drivers and I have absolutely NO idea how to turn it the fuck off. Does anyone know how to? I should've just kept my mx300 TT
