I am unable to find this streak. Besides Flash's now 14-win Proleague streak, Jaedong also has 14, Bisu has 12. Sea's potential 15-win Proleague win streak was ruined by a single loss right in the middle of it. Other than that, I'm not sure what everybody is looking at. GoRush http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/korean/players/8_GoRush/gamesIs what I was looking at... Well, if we are going to count any official match then Flash has has gotten the 15-win streak a long time ago, tieing with GoRush. I have no idea where Liquipedia got the 16 streak from.
tlpd might be missing some games

I thought Boxer had the all-time record of 17 straight wins?

I dunno, during the match they kept stressing that Gorush had the all-time winning streak at 15, and several other players like Reach and Bisu had the all-time proleague-game winning streak at 15 as well (so even if they lost an individual league game in the middle of that streak, their PL streak would still be alive), and if Flash won, he would tie the record for both.

thanks a lot for the translation, when i saw that flash had to play dear i knew the kid would play a great match :p

Longest win streaks: gorush in 2004 and effort in 2009 tied at 15 straight wins.
There is actually a list on the kespa website of many records. Just look under results tab.

Just watched the game and it was pretty sick play by Dear. Flash's turret though...

I seem to remember this EXACT thing happening last year... who was it? Another no-name toss who's only claim to fame was that he beat Flash once...
Get off your high-horse fanboy and learn to not take things so seriously

Nonsense, Shine is awesome.

Thanks for translation, Dear surely will have nice momentum now, not only in PvT.

I think what happened was that flash knew the timing for slow reavers, and after that timing passed, and he didn't get harassed, he assumed that it was going to be a fast expo, and that no reavers where coming, so he canceled turrets. I think flash literally just brainfarted and forgot that dear could have been waiting for the speedshuttle timing before moving out. Of course missing the support bay with scans may have had something to do with it, but I doubt flash would have canceled turrets just because he didn't scan them - I think timing of the shuttle played a much larger role in this.

Once again, it hurts a little bit to see all the potential that Dear and Shy couldn't capitalize on when they were in OZ.

Yea but 4 of those wins are over Light and Sea, who aren't particularly good TvP players
edit; and firebathero

It's kind of tough being a flash fan. He wins and you're like, "meh, he better win," and when he loses you're like, "WTF FLASH! THIS IS THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE."

To be fair, they didn't get much play times. lol its funny because OZ could have been a powerhouse this season with 2 Protoss lead by the death god. Jaedong, Killer and hiya being the staple players. They could have the lack of good protoss they always needed. But unfortunately they just had to disband.

Look at T8: they don't yet have that and all their players are underperforming.

Wahahaha why am i not surprised that this guy has a Rolster icon :x
Seriously though, the only Toss who beat Flash last year and can be remotely classified as no-name == Tyson or Much. Much has already made a name for himself (Grandpa Toss >.<) and Tyson was pretty solid all season (one of the staple players in MBC).
