It is funny, but the saddest part about that situation is that both Upmagic and Savior were involved in the matchfixing hoo-hah, and if you watched the game referenced in that image, you could put money down (see what I did there) that at least one of them was throwing that game. Pure gold. This thread has gotten more real laughs out of me than any other on TL by FAR. Thanks for all the awesome. :D Oh, and I've actually learned a TON about BW, too. I've always followed it in a casual way just by hanging out around TL, but after going through all of these and many of the links in the thread I feel like I get a lot more of the in-jokes and know the players quite a bit more. Going to put the following in spoiler since it's going too far off-topic: + Show Spoiler + Correction: Savior lost 1-3 to Zero. I don't think Savior threw that partiuclar series. Zero is remarkably consistent in maintaining his 50% winrate and actually was never bad at ZvZ. Not to mention the fact that he always had a winning record over Savior (6-2, but 8-2 if you were to include Blizzcon 2009). As for his series against Upmagic... yeah, I'm not sure if Upmagic was supposed to throw that series or make it look close. We saw some absolutely horrendous play from Savior in the second game (vulture run-bys were constantly harrasing his drones behind the mineral line which could have easly been solved by building a sunken or two). | ||
