edit: since pl's start is close ill just post my team. i doubt ill get sniped in the next two hours.
Main Team 7 Bogus (captain) 2 Brave 5 EffOrt 6 Leta 4 Reality 3 Shine 3 Samsung KHAN
bogus will make all games vs stx end 3-1, effort will come back to messiah mode, leta always delivers and is #1 terran in cj, and the rest is my khan fanboyism at its finest. it's kind of a gamble but i have faith on khan and nothing would hurt me more to see my dreams accomplished then see i lost fpl cause i didnt trust mah team. so i chose khan, shine because i expect him or roro to play in every match, reality because he's #1 terran in the team and has proved he can beat anyone from time to time, and brave because well, he's cheap (2pt), will give me khan victory points and he looks good when he plays, so maybe he gets to play while jangbi/stork are busy with individual leagues or something. also brave looks very handsome and january likes qtpies.
Anti Team 4 Crazy-Hydra 3 hero 6 Snow
crazy hydra will hurt because of kt victory points but i think kt won't rape too hard this season. kt has already flash stats mind wooki to be playing and there's like 3 zergs before ch: hoejja action and roo. hero has been shit for too long and snow is kind of a gamble. i love to watch snow play (when he's inspired) but i predict his spot being stolen by horang2carry and movie who will unslump. so yeah there we go

My team:
Gao Gao BroodWar!
Main Team 5 EffOrt 4 firebathero 6 Killer (captain) 6 Light 1 Nbs 3 wooki 5 CJ Entus
Anti Team 4 free 4 Kal 5 Tyson
I always put FlaSh as captain, but with the new rules its hard to justify the expense of FlaSh, Bisu and Jaedong, or any 8-pointer.
Killer and Light are promising for six points. Killer can be streaky, but he is looking good on Team 8's preliminary results, and his OSL run looked real good. Light is Woongjin's top Terran.
Eff0rt for five points is hard to pass.
FBH looked real good last season, and he is Ace's Terran.
For wooki, I'll follow FlaSh's advice. With Violet still on recovery, he is likely to become KT #2 protoss, and maybe even be KT's #3 spot, pendin Action and Mind yet-to-see consistency.
I wanted to pick Bogus, but he is seven points. At the end, I think Killer/wooki/1-pointer is better than Bogus/wooki/Rock.
Nbs: the one pointer filler. I don't think any 1-pointer will be fielded often, so I went for a CJ player.
Team: CJ (sorry KT T_T). Of the 5-point teams, they might not win the most, but when they win, I think it will be with sweeps.
Anti: I don't think free will recover. Kal and Tyson are gambles, but I am going based on TLPD win/lose ratio.

Are lineups posted before the match happens?
I know in SC2 GSTL (it had winners league format), the starting player would be revealed 48 hours before the match, but I don't know if anything like that happens in BW PL.

Shuttle was STX's best Protoss last year and now Kal's not on the team any more, so I think he's definitely worth it.

Main Team
6 Jaehoon *Captain* 3 Wooki 4 n.Die_soO 6 Leta 5 RorO 1 Alone
Team - 5 Team8
Anti-Team
8 Fantasy 5 Calm 3 Hyuk
Here is a short summary of why's.
Jaehoon as First, simply because he performed at high level last season and weidly enough I think he will be ONE of the main cores of T8. Wooki, he is up and rising Star. Simple as that. n.Die_soO, had greatrun last season, and I would expect him to do the same in this ONE. Leta is very reliable, I THINK. I think that RorO has a lot to prove, but i believe in him. And of course in KHAN. Alone was just a missing Point in my team.
For anti-team I chose Fantasy because he sucks. Calm cuz he sucks too. And Hyuk cuz he gonna "Hyuk" himself next season.

Thanks, didn't see that there. Team Be Killer or Be Killed is going to make some big plays tonight :D

Regarding the anti-team: if one of your anti-team players loses, do you gain points in the standing?

Skydiving Without Parachutes
Main Team 6 Light (captain) 6 Killer 4 BeSt 4 firebathero 4 Shuttle 3 wooki 3 Woongjin Stars
Anti Team 4 free 3 hero 6 Snow
As a relative newcomer to the BW scene, I don't have a good grasp of predicting who will be hot or cold. I assembled this team based on what I saw last year.
I don't expect Woongjin Stars to dominate but the new format emphasizes the importance of the Zero-Light-Soulkey triumvirate to Stars' success. They are perfectly capable and aware (and so should the other teams) that those three can clean-sweep any team if they are on. Sniping them will prove somewhat difficult without a deeper familiarity with the new map pool, and that will take some time to tease out.
Light was nothing less than an absolute engine of destruction last year and I expect him to continue bossing it up this PL. Even his traditional TvP woes look like a thing of the past. He barely edges out Soulkey for the spot of captain.
Killer is somewhat unproven but I see great potential. He showed marked improvement in both Winners League and his OSL run, which apparently continued into the offseason. With the kind of talent surrounding him he has a good chance of maturing into a OSL contender this year. I'm counting on racking up the points from Team 8's victories as well (JD too expensive, Sea slightly too expensive, Jaehoon's future rate of appearance is too ambigious even for me, no faith in Baby's inconsistency being solved).
Flash says good things about Wooki, but will KT actually field him now with the new format changes? Chintoss still claims the spot of #1 Protoss but Wooki adds much needed depth to their Protoss roster. I'm counting on KT recognizing Wooki's talent and acknowledging that he needs stage experience to go even farther. He won't get played that much initially but at 3 points he's still a steal.
FBH is the ace of ACE. He will play and he will get wins. He's a good investment for 4 points.
I struggled a bit in justifying my pickup of Shuttle. I like what I've seen from him last year but...it's STX. If Shuttle fails hard this PL I won't have the luxury of free team points to negate it. But as someone pointed out to me, he's the best Protoss on a team that doesn't have much of anything going for them. At the very least he won't be stuck on the bench and if STX plays him the way he should be played, a PvP sniper with the ability to take games off of any terran, he'll pay off.
I want to pick Bisu. Everyone wants to pick Bisu but damn he costs a liver and a kidney to get. The only 4-point players left on SKT were Best and By.Sun. I pretty much looked at their recent records and flipped a coin.
For anti-team, the reasons were a lot simpler. Snow has been mostly on and off last season; now he must contend with the other CJ Protosses for stage time, Protosses who were a lot more consistent when it counted. Likewise Hero is behind Calm and Hyvaa in terms of priority and was pretty bad last year. For the same reasons I chose free.
EDIT: Best has already payed off. Didn't expect him to play that well.

Jaehoon is much better than Tyson. Just bad luck to draw Bisu. (Shuttle's probably better than Jaehoon, and on a weaker team, but yeah.)
