How to Be Enthusiastic: The how to steps to become more excited for the new season of Broodwar. You’re already reading this thread so you’re that much closer!
Step 1: Evaluate your current attitude before you try to be enthusiastic. Take a full inventory, especially focusing on where you're negative or pessimistic. Then study where you already have some enthusiasm.
Problem: To many of you it may be easy to find your negative attitude about the current standings of Brood War. Not knowing the start date has started irrational fear and rage among some of us. Ohers are filled with worry and sickness because their team is not cut out for PL (STX) or their favorite player has gone through surgery (Flash, the chins). And finally some have entered jealousy as we watch those who were upset reach pure ecstasy because Kespa has just made a team out of their favorite players. So the first thing to do is make sure to list all the things that are angering you right now.
Solution: The quickest way to find enthusiasm is to figure out what in Broodwar really inspires you. Make sure you find think of ideas that really excite you and either has a player you love dominate or a player you hate get destroyed. Anti-Bisu fans might want to rembember his loses in a game versus Iris or Yellow’s domination on Heart Break Ridge. While others may enjoy remembering when Kal dominated the 2010 WCG finals, or even better yet the epic TvT between Flash and Fantasy in that same tournament. Meanwhile some of us might just enjoy trying to remember epic times of hidden hatcheries and hive tech pushes that show how the swarm can obliterate the other races….Ok so take a minute and really think of what has excited you the most about being a part of Broodwar (and feel free to share any of your positive attitudes with the community, it will help us all become more enthusiastic).

Step 2: Determine what's behind any negativity and attempt to correct that as you work on increasing your enthusiasm. When you're experiencing challenges and setbacks in life, it's difficult to be enthusiastic. A life coach or a counselor could help you change things.
So now you have this list of negative attitudes. Let’s put together a list of ways we can really improve our attitude. You can try some of mine or choose to do your own. As mentioned, anything to make you feel better is just great!
My list:
Watch Bisu win his first MSL
Watch Bisu win his second MSL!
Watch Bisu win his third MSL!!!
Watch that plaguu and reava video.
Listen to GeeGeeGee and remember how you love getting trolled by Roffles
Click the Korean Singles banner on the top of the TL website because your supporting eSports

We are feeling better already. Making a list of 6 things has already made me feel great. I challenge you to come up with six too!
Step 3: Cultivate a positive, optimistic attitude by examining where you're already enthusiastic. Meditate upon your current enthusiasm and positive spirits a few times a day. Over time, you should find your enthusiasm increasing.
This step is like the inception of enthusiasm. Basically, “I heard you like enthusiasm, so I put enthusiasm inside your enthusiasm.” Sometimes it’s hard to identify when you are being enthusiastic so take a look at the picture below and see if you can identify all 12 examples of enthusiasm on Jaedong's face.

Solution:
+ Show Spoiler +
Chatty, Funny, Really Funny, Tasty, Feeling Good, Sighing, Ooh!, Ooh~mm, very Cutesy, Curious, Bashful, Very Satisfied, Very Happy
Step 4: Seek out things you're genuinely enthusiastic about. Start with what you're already enthusiastic about, and find similar things to add to the list. Joining groups that share your interests, either online or in person, is one easy way to find what you're enthusiastic about.
This step is about expanding your enthusiasm. At this point you have a list of things that cheer you up and you know how to easily identify when you are feeling good. Now you have 2000 minerals and your opponent is on one base. You need to mass expo your enthusiasm. Of course your natural is to go straight from yourself to TeamLiquid. But why don’t you go a step further and take a 3rd outside of TL. One suggestion may be going to reddit and posting amazing material on their website. Another could be putting together a skype chat and watching replays and doing analysis together. If you’re new sGs clan is open to you and if you’re a veteran get on BNet and pwn somebody.

Step 5: Spend time with people who are sincerely enthusiastic and have no problem expressing it. Being around this sort of person can make it easier to display your own enthusiasm.
Step 5 is very similar to step 4 but it takes it to the hardcore level. At this point stop wasting your time trying to inform noobs on reddit that BroodWar is awesome and start discussing it with people who really know what they are doing. It is important to only do this with the best, so we need to join together in finding the exact address of the dream team hostel and have them skype with us until each one of us has asked every question we can think of including whether or not Jaedong caused the power outage (too soon?).

Step 6: Change your behavior to reflect enthusiasm. Instead, if you feel enthusiastic on the inside, let it come to the outside.
This could quite possibly be the most important step of the guide. How can we change our behavior to reflect our enthusiasm. The quick solution is wearing Starcraft merchandise. But how can we take this further?
Solution 1: Use Starcraft lingo in your everyday life. For example, if you’re a pizza delivery guy and you have you make it there 1 minute before the timer expires, as soon as the customer opens the door yell “Ee Han Timing!” and finish that delivery! Another example is if you are a heavy drinker be sure to use this technique to your advantage. Whenever you have to throw up, yelll “Plaguuuuuu” and barf all over the person next to you.
Solution 2: Go with a tattoo. Nothing is cooler then representing your favorite RTS.

Come up with your own solutions and please share them with the rest of us.
Step 7: Widen your circle of enthusiasm. The more things you can find to be enthusiastic about, the more enthusiasm can become your natural trait.
Quite possibly the hardest step to follow, but once you’ve reached it you are the epitome of enthusiasm. Everyone who nears you will be sucked in to your maelstrom of inspiration and be completely mind controlled. In this step you have to learn how to adapt into AOE enthusiasm. Not only are you enthusiastic about Broodwar, but about the players, and the teams, and the caliber of skill it takes to play this game. No longer will you say “Hiya is dead to me because he doesn’t have a BW team” but instead you will learn to love and embrace every player for the highs and lows. This is the tip of the mountain and you have climber your way to these steps. The last thing to do is some really sick cheese to someone who deserves it and when they are upset, send them right here to this thread so that they can become enthusiastic again too.
You are now Enthusiastic:
