As some of you may know, some of us here at tl.net started a clan. It was a clan were we would meet and play some games. It was very fun for the..... 3 days it lasted or so.
Doesnt people wanna play anymore? Everytime I log onto B.net and type /f l, I see no )TL( members online (and I have 10-12 on my friendslist, not counting those who are in the channel, but not in the clan). I would hate to see this go down. It was so fun, and just as an example my PvZ improved dramically in those 3-5 days it lasted. Please dont let it go down!
The reason I'm asking this, is that I've been offered to join another clan, and if this really is dead, I would like to know... So is it dead, or have you just been busy?

Untrue. I believe Bine started this whole thing and his new pet project is op SCS on Europe. He told all clan tl members to start going there for games. It's a lower skilled player area as I understand.
Maybe you just didn't hear about it. I visited op SCS once and there were 3 people idling there. Guess that's your best bet.
I don't agree at all with "-_-", I mean if you want to play and have some nice friends, why you need those guys to keep a channel alive ?
It just doesn't make sense, I know they're popular as hell, and most of the people will join a channel, that they, actually, visit constantly, but..Play for the fun, no for the fame

It isn't a clan for Tl.net, in actuality, but more a clan for people who aren't so good at the game and want to improve without losing all the time (on wgt and such).
And in response to Hans: A lot of the clan has been playing in SCStart (op scs).

It's still separate. )TL( is for WGT so it's "clan only" so to speak. SCS is a more general field. As for me, I've been playing a lot of Namco X Capcom so I don't have a whole lot of time for SC, but I'll probably play some SC this weekend and I hope to see some of you on =]

An update on Clan )TL(: Right now, since SC Start just launched, I have my hands full for the moment. Because of this, I think we should turn to one of the other driving forces behind TL, Heaven)TL(, because he seems to be organized or motivated or something. Within a week or so, probably after we've had a tournament for SCS and things are stabile, I will have some time for )TL( again. To me, what I envision for clan )TL( is that we become a clan that operates within the SCS Community, in a way. In the same way that a clan exists on WGT, we could exist as part of SCS, and be a clan of beginners. I think it would be nice if another clan formed within op SCS, and we could have two or three beginner clans that had wars. I definitely want to continue with the clan, I just want to make sure I stabilize SCS, an effort for the community at large, before I spend time on our little clan. As far as I am concerned, though, )TL( is not dead by any means. My suggestion is this: anyone who has time and is willing to, post in the clan )TL( forum (http://www.threatoffice.com/TL), be active in op SCS using the tag, and talk to heaven about scheduling some clan wars. If )TL( dies every time i'm busy, it won't go far, because I might get busy some times. Anyone who wants to be part of it, take ownership of it and have pride in it, and it will succeed. Start working towards things for the clan on your own. Right now there's no hierarchy or even set membership, so its still waiting to be established. Establish it.
sorry but this is exam days so I have a lot of exam and thing need to be done . As i said before , i'll not be active until the end of this month T_T . But i think for this clan , every one can be the leader if you are active and enthusiasm . So like Bine said , you just need to be active in op SCS under )TL( flag from now on so )TL( cant be dead Our next step is to design a decent homepage for our clan to show you that )TL( is a serious clan and will able to compete in a near future

I tried starting a channel once as you may recall, op nolt.
Only problem is I hate playing against random people so I didn't really game a lot xD
Maleorderbride was doing good though, he played everyone :O But then the bot just stopped working, no clue why and uh yeah =]
I'm lazy.
Good luck with your clan/channel etc, it's nice to have such things (and the non-korean community really needs a channel where you can go just to play and not listen to trashtalk, chat etc).
clan )TL( was started maybe a couple weeks ago as sort of a clan for new people that had a channel where people from tl.net could hang out and play friendly games. It was started on the grounds that new people needed somewhere to go without just going 0-29384 on the ladders.
From there, the project evolved into two parts: the clan, which will hopefully continue to grow as a clan built of people who haven't been in a clan before/can't find another clan to join/suck, and also SC Start, a new community for beginning/casual players. SCS is doing quite well, the thread about it is http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=28191, you can read about it.
Just wanted to clear that up, because people from this thread might not understand exactly what's happening/has happened. Thanks for everyone's participation so far, its going well.
