so do you people honestly expect that bw will exist 10 more years? i mean it must happen sooner or later that everyone will play newer game bleh. before OSL i didn't really care if BW ever died but after Jangbi vs Fantasy... I want BW to stay forever. What is wrong with you people? If this came true it would be 2 great games coexisting with each other and introducing themselves to a new public. BW could get a influx of new sc2 fans that never watched BW and that means more sponsors and sc2 would get more spotlight in the Korean scene. This news is the complete opposite of one game dying or players switching over. The only downside of this I can think off is what would happen with GOM?In the event that all this comes through I hope GOM can coexist with OGN I guess?(not sure what is the current status on MBC)

That's how some of the current SF PL pro-teams were formed, by taking over existing clan/non-sponsored teams. Are you sure the kespa teams wouldn't just take over entirely? It'd be weird to see IM become KT for proleague, but remain IM for GSTL.

Count is at 3-4 of these already. Just need some BW trolls to get on and you'll have a full out flame war. srsly, topic should be in SC2 forums, yes, proleague is BW related, however this is an expansion atm, not a replacement. More news for SC2 than to BW.

It looks like after a year KeSPA is coming to their mind and realising that SC2 is the hottest thing in esport now, i'm looking forward to see how it will develop, especially what will happen between the KeSPA teams and the SC2 teams, i'm really curious about that.

I still don't understand why blizzard is negotiating with Kespa. the only people who care about Kespa are Koreans, and they all hate it. It seem like a bad move to tie SC2 to that organization. Errr......? If they truly hated KeSPA then it won't exist today. No one would have supported/watched the leagues, meaning the approval rate for KeSPA would have gone downwards, and fast.

They'll get some compensation from Blizzard, they still have 2 games to sell and maybe expansions after that.

Foreign hottest thing(which kespa dont really care about) its still a niche e-sport in korea tho, can hope if sc2 gets some more televised stuff it will change tho
