How is it rude? They were invited as guests, flown to the US full expenses paid to attend Blizzcon. Jesus, so bitter

They are superstars in the SC community. Instead who does the camera show? Stereotypical WoW players and someone's mom.

Haha yeah. Just a simple introduction and shout out from Tasteless or Artosis on stage to the guys and have the camera showing them for a couple of second would do. But nothing. But as said earlier, maybe they have something planned for tomorrow.

as invited guests, isn't it polite manners to introduce your guest to the crowd and venue?

So they do one camera shot and that makes it all better? I don't know if they were going to call them out why not have them come up on stage beforehand or something? Maybe they wanted to stay low profile in the crowd?

I certainly hope they do something with them though feels like a waste since BW stars are so rarely in the States.

They are Brood War superstars. Many fans, both in the crowd and those watching on the stream, greatly desire to make the most of this extremely rare opportunity to interact with the men who we could only watch afar behind a computer desk.

It is utterly rude for Blizzard to deny US, the FANS, of this opportunity.

Not to mention that the players themselves would appreciate the chance for acknowledge of their presence and interaction with the audience.

MVP used to be a A-teamer on Stars, playing against the Brood War teams. MMA used to be a SKT player, training with Bisu and Fantasy. What harm is there for Blizzard to show Jaedong, Bisu, and Fantasy on the camera, lending morale support to their friends and ex-competitors?

This could have been great. This could have been unique. This could have been a WOW moment when Fantasy hands the trophy to either MVP or the MMA, the one that many fans dubbed "Son of Boxer"

Am I bitter? Yeah I am bitter.

Hopefully they get noted tomorrow. I don't think they could get a shoutout in the GSL Finals because of the history with Gretech and KeSPA (although things have thawed a bit).

I agree..... So rude, having people fly out, full expense paid and probably VIP pass for blizzcon..... Yeh right lol. Why can't it just be a treat from blizzard to the top sc.bw players? Maybe the players actually enjoy not being in spotlight for once ( I doubt the majority of WoW players even know who they are ).

Heck, JD even said he was looking forward to enjoy his visit with some friends to blizzcon and was relied there were no scheduled games ( so far).

A motive by blizzard could be showing them to the huge sc2 foreign community and maybe interest them in the game ( which I doubt will work, and hope it doesn't ).

People so negative to ranting about it being rude rofl... I'd give my left nut for what they received by blizzard.

Given what information we have, no interviews from any organization have been made publicly available (to my knowledge) and a comment made by MLG-Kyle earier ("That is definitely high up on the list of priorities for us. They are incredibly hard to track down, if they're even in the convention hall at all, that is. Anything around them seems to be very hush hush at this point.") one would almost think Blizzard is purposely trying to keep them away from media.

Maybe this will get done tomorrow but I find it really strange that TL nor MLG (interviews by Slasher and articles written by chobopeon) would have zero content on such high profile BW players. Blizzard also never publicly announced them coming to Blizzcon, all of our information was gained from Korean sources. All this suggests to me Blizzard might have a hand in the "media blackout" concering them. Perhaps they signed an agreement of some sort? We won't know until Blizzcon is over but I hope SOMETHING comes out of this ...

Blizzard paying respect by inviting BW superstars and perhaps they want to stay low key or perhaps they have something saved up for tomorrow. In any case, blizzard doesn't lose anything. They show what e-sports looks like outside of korea. Please keep in mind also that this was GSL finals not the entire Blizzcon tonight. There's no real reason that Blizzard and GomTV should spotlight Broodwar players in a Pro GSL event. Again, it could make sense in Blizzcon but not GSL.

Finally, if you think about it Blizzcon isn't only for Starcraft fans, it is a convention for nerds in general. Warcraft fans and Diablo fans and just casual gamers there as well. We cannot just assume that everyone going to Blizzcon are TL members. Even so, a lot of SC2 fans have never really been into Broodwar or are too young to know broodwar anyway. You can't just assume and criticize. To a lot of attendees, there's no real benefit to knowing broodwar players. For now, they should just be guests and enjoy vacation and entertain fans that do notice them and we as fans should just let blizzard do what they want.

Oh and also, if blizzard wanted them in the spotlight at sc2 surely they would use the blizzcon finals and not the gsl finals for it ( because they are guests if blizzard not of gom/gretech).

However if I was artosis I probably would be to excited to see them watch me cast I'd drop their name at least once haha.

Ps. It's also first day, 2 more days to go, hold your horses
