Indeed he did. SC2 isn't BW, so as a game its like saying 2 cars on 2 different tracks are going to pass each other at some point. BW is doing BW's thing and SC2 is doing SC2's thing. If you want to talk about passing. You have to objectify the game and approach it from a business and marketing standpoint. But in that case its just two different products, and all this "difficulty" or "skill" stuff gets packaged together and is really a minor factor. And clearly people are not talking about business decisions or marketing strategies, they are extrapolating specific unique qualities of each game and using it as a basis for why it is superior in every other way. | ||

Greater than or Less than is meaningless because its like saying "I have more apples then you have oranges so I am better....". No you don't, you just wasted all your money and time on buying more apples. Ah who am I kidding, as angry as people get, I am sure they enjoy arguing whose game is better. Thinking of strategies and arguments to counter another persons..refining your pessimism for the other view points...editing responses to sound more sophisticated. Its the argument you enjoy, not the win. But what if the person who engineered the oranges is the same one who created apples and spent 10 years studying his apples and then invented oranges to emulate everything that made apples successful and marketed his oranges to ride on the tasty reputation of his amazing apples. And then when oranges became popular, the fans of oranges came to the apple stand every time an advertisement about apples was placed at the front of the market and started telling apple buyers that oranges are the future and soon enough, nobody will eat or make apples and that anyone who thinks to the contrary is in denial. And the apple lovers are just like, dude gtfo and leave us alone and let us love our apples. Apples take more skill to eat anyway. So yeah, that is just my general observation of your average fruit market. | ||

Assuming that BW showmatches are arranged, how well would the English commentators (Day9, Artosis, Tasteless, JP (lol)) adapt again to the BW cast? Would Artosis's bias for BW Terran start seething through after watching Fantasy struggle against Jangbi abusing DT drops and Carriers? Will he start QQing about map imbalance against Terran and the imbalance of DT drops? Would everyone be able to adapt to calling the Citadel of Adun a Citadel rather than a Twilight Council? Tastosis kept interchanging those terms during their first GSL casts. After hearing Tastosis go crazy with Nestea hyperboles during their last Nestea GSL games, what kind of hyperboles would they be able to create for Bisu and Jaedong? If Nestea is the stallion that mounts the world, then what the hell is Jaedong? JP adapting to BW? I have a feeling that Day[9] still has a lot of BW left in him. At the last MLG, he went full Brood War for a few minutes during Huk vs MC, in which he kept shouting "MC NEEDS TO KILL THE OBSERVATORY! HUK NEEDS TO DEFEND HIS OBSERVATORY! WILL HE KEEP HIS OBSERVATORY ALIVE?!?!?" even though it was only a Robo Facility loooool. AND WILL TASTELESS REGAIN HIS LOST PAAAAAASSION?!? (I kid) | ||

Yes I'm an old SCBW fan who's more or less followed the scene since the very beginnings with BoxeR's amazing strategies (cheese in modern standards, haha!) and the brief shining of foreigners (Grrrr...!!!). So of course I love SCBW and still find myself watching SCBW most of the time. That doesn't automatically make me a SC2 hater though =O I also watch SC2 and find the game to be pretty good, but more difficult to follow because there are simply too many tournaments with gazillions of progamers. Anyways, I think this Blizzcon will be a big positive step towards worldwide eSports in general. | ||

iNcontrol claims that Dustin Browder told him why the Koreans are coming, but it may just be trolling. Artosis's facial reaction may reveal that he knows something, but it may just be trolling. Huk claims that he will go to Blizzcon and beat all the Koreans at BW, just like how he beat BoxeR in BW at IPL. Artosis gives a face of skepticism. | ||
