some shinier newer game will come along a year after the last sc2 expansion i'm sure. then sc2 fans will be like bw fans are now, and the bw crowd will be like wc2 fans (shoutout to the 5 of you that are still out there) | ||

SC2 is definitely going to be featured at BIizzcon while any Blizzcon BW events are just pure speculation at this point, so the quartet of BW players will definitely be publicly exposed to SC2 in some fashion, either through an official SC2 showmatch or at least in some amateur, over-the-shoulder video of them messing around in SC2 or the HotS alpha. | ||

Tbh, this isn't "BW" news either. There is nothing saying they are there on behalf of "BW Community". Right now we have no idea why they are going to do there so people naturally get excited they might, god forbid, try SC2 and maybe, just maybe enjoy it. They'll probably play HotS showmatches or something, like Yellow played in a sc2 showmatch at the last blizzcon BW invitational. I can't see flying them out there just to do that and not play any BW at all though, the sc2 showmatches are more like a bonus. It's just so incredibly annoying that whenever there's a BW news thread we get hundreds of people in it asking if they're switching to sc2, not realizing that there's zero chance of any of these four players doing that. then when they're told that there's zero chance, they spout some shit about how sc2 is THE FUTURE @ guy above me - the speculation and hype should be about the JANGBI VS FANTASY GRUDGE MATCH and whether we'll finally get to see a good Bisu-Jaedong game, not "omg this is the beginning of the mass sc2 switch omg" | ||

The SC2 vs BW posts are just as painful to sift through as the SC2 troll posts themselves, and it's also annoying reading through several angry responses for every single troll post. | ||

i honestly can't believe I held it off until page 34, it was the Jaedong joining IM guy that set me off. it doesn't help that I really really believe that they're not trolling, they're just that ignorant Yeah guy, Jaedong is gonna give up his 100k+ salary that he's sure to get from the new superteam and join team IM so he can get flown out to MLG every once in a while  Alright, got it all out of my system now! | ||
