Western Europe recruitment thread
I am EleGant[AoV], and I am the first selected Western European team leader. If you are as yet unaware of this latest nation-wars project, please go and have a thorough look at the thread here. This competition is fully sponsored by the fantastic indie game Altitude, so the winning team can expect to receive a nice cash prize, not to mention the prestige attached!
So this thread is my first stab at getting recruitment going for the future winners of the first ANW, Western Europe. I will also be sending out mass PMs on ICCup, and to anybody I can find on TL from our zone, not wanting to limit recruitment to just a thread.
What is Western Europe?
In this context we are: Portugal, Spain, France, UK, Ireland, Belgium, and the Netherlands. If you are from any of these countries, regardless of rank, you are eligible to apply to join the team, and I urge you to do so straight after reading this OP.
How do you apply?
If you're Interested in being streamed weekly, representing your respective countries and our team as a whole, and having a go at that cash prize, all you have to do is post in this thread-
Your ICCup ID. Your max rank. Your TeamLiquid ID. Where you're from.
Please also send me a personal message containing all possible contact details, as recruitment can be a real headache when players are unreachable. This includes Skype, Facebook, email, whatever you feel comfortable sending to me. You could also simply add me on any of these, remembering to tell me who you are!

What next?
Well, I'm going to let people post, PM, and otherwise apply for a bit, but as soon as possible I'm going to be trying to organise game sessions between teammates/potential teammates, because nothing will give us a better idea of where we all stand, and having fun is the best way to gel as a team.
We also need a second leader, so please go to the ANW thread to apply there! It gets lonely at the top...

The rank says everything, so im just looking to represent Portugal, me being one of the very few active BW players from Portugal  .

I'm NotoriousSCV, only D cause i never actually sat down and laddered for any length of time just played friends (i should be around D+ skill though, i think i'll try and actually get D+ then officially apply). So i'm good enough but i'm going to be playing a lot at the moment to try and get better, and i got reasonable knowledge strategy knowledge from watching every progame; it's more mechanics i need to improve.
Interesting that 2v2 people can't play in the 1v1 at the same time too, so specialist 2v2 guys needed? Maybe it will be useful to have some weaker players anyway if nobody else can be found, at least some map specific sniping builds could be thought up and practiced.
That will be quite an important role for the managers i think, preparing for each game. Working out everyone's best matchup to use. Would be nice if there was a channel ingame or IRC to discuss that kind of thing and try and help in that regard at least.

I am trying to get as much in the way of contact details from people as humanly possible, so that everything can be arranged reeeeally nice and smoothly.
Also, Kleptako, I belive Denmark is under the team "Nordic". Go put a post on the official ANW thread and they'll hook you up.

Yeah. No one to run Nordic yet, though looks like you guys are off to a good start. Also, I agree better communication = more clan war attendance.

I'm sending a message out to everybody on this team, however I can. I would prefer it if everybody could arrange a skype, so that we can keep in contact easily, and i know if people have received my message or not.
It's a free download, no need for a mic, Messaging on there is good enough.
