A month ago people were concerned we wouldn't be able to find a single sponsor, now we've got six companies showing interest. If you're weak in the worst of times you could at least show some strength when things are good...Here's to another season of proleague. | ||

Lets say KTR wants to increase Flash salary. Obviously they cant do it without asking the sponsors. Now, instead of asking the sponsors themselves, they go to Kespa, and Kespa goes to the sponsors. Unless Kespa has a saying in how much they are going to increase Flash salary (in my example, obviously), I think Kespa management is a good thing. KeSPA does drop the ball sometimes, and thats why we are afraid of it. But I think its for the best. And it is fucking dope that they can assure that there will be 8 teams and the 2 teams WILL be formed. KeSPA power is no joke. | ||

What if all 5-6 companies that KeSPA is talking to decide to sponsor but only 3 teams are added to make 8? Either someone's not getting their name up there or there's going to be some Microsoft/Coca-Cola Oz team name action going on. Look at professional physical sports. Organizations like the NBA have official sponsors, but teams aren't named Gatorade Lakers or McDonald's Mavericks. I imagine the sponsor names would stay too, I'm mainly just trying to figure out what this "KeSPA middle man" thing really means. | ||

FYI, it's pretty common in other parts of the world for professional sports teams to have their corporate sponsors in their names, especially in Asia. Also, we have 7 teams currently (SKT, KT, CJ, Stars, Khan, STX, and Ace) so even if they only add 1 team there will be 8. | ||

Anyways, I hope that we'll get atleast 1 more team to get up to 9 teams in total. Honestly I don't mind if Kespa reorganize all the players and make them switch teams to keep everything balanced. | ||

What it means is that Khan will still exist even if Samsung no longer sponsors it, and Kespa will be better positioned to find a new sponsor. | ||
