I think SC2 is way too lame of a game for Jaedong, but he might have no other choice if no other team can afford his salary.
And if he indeed switches, then SC2 lameness will be diminished because he will find a way to make it actually fun. if boxer and july can't make SC2 fun, how would JD make it fun? a player of jaedong's calibre would bring an amazing amount of hype to the stagnating pro sc2 scene in korea. either way, people look too deep into netizen rumors/comments. of course jd is just visiting his old lecaf team mates -_- the point is that even with star power, if a game isnt fun to watch, it still wont be fun to watch. even some of BWs most creative players cant do anything that makes it fun to watch. hype =/= a good spectator sport.
Well thats your opinion of course. While I do find Bw more entertaining I also find sc2 entertaining (when there isn't cheese constantly ). So while you and a lot of other bw players may not like it doesn't mean its boring to watch.
But still I really kind of hope jaedong doesn't move to sc2 yet I want him to win 2 more championships. Also with jaedong being 4-0 vs flash in their last 4 times playing I would like to see if Jaedong can take flash in a bo5 again. I always know he can but he seems to play silly sometimes so with his better shape in zvt would love to see it. He just has to fix zvz so he can make it to the finals again >>

Huk has joked that Hero looks like Bisu before.

You get a completely different hype and feel if a player of JD's skill switches to SC2. Boxer/Nada brought star power but they were no longer in their primes when they made the switch, yet they still made Code S and at times dominated. You get a bw player of the highest caliber, in his prime, to play sc2 and you get some serious interest. Who wouldnt want to see and find out just how good a top 2 bw player could be in sc2. It would be insanity and would go a long way to get korean bw fans to finally make the switch to sc2.

I personally hope JD gets picked up by anyone but KT. JD v Flash games are one of the things that can still keep me up to watch a BW game live, so the more of those possibilities floating around the better!

Me, I don't really care where Jaedong goes, as long as he gets there quick and gets back to wrecking faces.
One thing I would really like, though, would be if he somehow still ended up with Killer on his team

JD would be better off to STX/Khan than KT/SKT1. There's absolutely no logical explanation of why KT/SKT1 needs JD to keep the proleague competitive as much as possible.
iirc in 2009 JD had a problem with OZ, and actually wasn't picked up by any other teams because of his salary (kespa rules for free agency with high salary--check out JD's profile on liquipedia "http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/Jaedong"). Is the case different in this situation? I certainly hope so.

I believe no one could afford him because of the insane rule that a buying team would have to pay double salary (half to JD (his new salary), and then half to the team they bought him from). so if a team wanted to sign JD for 300k, they would have to also pay that much to Oz. it's pretty retarded.
although I remember hearing that STX almost did that anyway, but decided not to because JD wanted to stay with Oz (I think JD actually had little official say in where he ended up?).

there was a gentleman's agreeement between the teams that skt couldn't sign him because it would ruin proleague.

I want a merger to happen to be honest... While everyone will cry that its too stacked, there are tons of examples where dream-teams fail to execute and IF a merger happened no way would a sponser pick up every single player from the three teams, which means other A-class talent could go to other teams.
Personally, I think a merger, where the team has to prove themselves, and JD has to prove he's the ace of the team will force JD to remedy the current flaws in his game (god damn ZvZ!!!!) and become rage mode again
... And plz... plz... PLZ no JD to SC2... then I'll have to start following it... lol

honestly... think about all the teams that are left. If Jaedong went to ANY of them (besides ACE or MBC), they would be a ridiculously strong team
|
With so many teams disbanded, I want to see new teams being formed, with new sponsors. And Jaedong becoming the leader of such promising new team. It suits him better than fitting among the stars of any of the other current teams. Such push may help him rise again to the very top.

Um, wasn't that a joke? As in, Huk said Jaedong was there and then said "oh wait it's just Hero"?

lmao if JD switches to sc2 i will switch back to zerg. I think if STX buy him it would be good. but what about the rest of Oz?

and JD trolls everyone by playing terran. lol
hope STX gets him

Jaedong to CJ or Khan would definitely balance next proleague.
|
I don't want to see Jaedong on either SKT or KT... proleague games between these three player's respective teams get so intense because everyone pretty much expects a JvF, JvB, or FvB on the Ace match, which never fails to deliver in entertainment value.

Maybe put Action up on free agency (I didn't like his performance at all this season) and try bringing in Jaedong? I swear though if SKT buys out Jaedong, I'll stop following Starcraft. SKT can't have that deep of pockets, and still make things interesting for Proleague.
flash makes 650k? i thought only 200-300k

1. Jaedong to CJ would be weird. Hydra / Effort / Jaedong?!?! They'd either be fielding at least three Zergs every match, or one of these players wouldn't even be sent out. And then the Ace match... I can imagine the opposing coach: "We thought they'd send out Jaedong, but they sent out Effort, we were totally out-maneuvered... oh wait..."
2. Jaedong to KT... can you imagine practice time, Jaedong and Flash going at it every day? I feel like they'd be hospitalized for exhaustion by the third week of proleague.
3. Jaedong to SKT, means that SKT would be hideously overpowered with three top players. Which is pretty much the situation for SKT without Jaedong.
4. Jaedong to STX or Khan feels right.

jd and bogus on one team sounds pretty good
