I think SC2 is way too lame of a game for Jaedong, but he might have no other choice if no other team can afford his salary.
And if he indeed switches, then SC2 lameness will be diminished because he will find a way to make it actually fun. if boxer and july can't make SC2 fun, how would JD make it fun? a player of jaedong's calibre would bring an amazing amount of hype to the stagnating pro sc2 scene in korea. either way, people look too deep into netizen rumors/comments. of course jd is just visiting his old lecaf team mates -_- Is the scene really stagnating in Korea, asking because I haven't seen tons of stuff about GSL failing and what not. Its never been huge in terms of spectators or people watching but I haven't got the impression people are already losing interest. You actually mentioned the reason for its stagnation: it's the fact that it doesn't have the huge spectating in Korea when you contrast it with BW.
Because of that, it doesn't seem like people are losing interest because there wasn't a huge number that had interest in the first place. All of the are diehards staying around, while the few casual fans are fading away, thus it makes it seem like it isn't losing any steam.
There's certainly potential for SC2 in Korea once the expansions start rolling out, add that to the already huge popularity around the rest of the world and you'll have a game that may stay around for a while.

Ghaa Jaedong needs to win 2 more OSLs before he switches.. PLEASE GOD PLEASE! I'd be happy with 1 OSL and this final MSL. He needs to get that golden badge. Yeah, he really needs this final MSL. The 4th OSL would also work as well. ^^
On the issue of teams, it seems like STX would be the best for keeping a balanced league. The fact that the management or coach (I forget which) originally put up basically ALL the players for trade or something makes me think something's odd there.
I would rather JD go to Khan or KT, if he has to go to one of the remaining teams. He would completely solve Khan's current Zerg problem, and Oz and Khan seemed pretty close. Jaedong would be a great fit at KT as well, since him and Flash are good friends, and KT treats their players pretty well.
Please not SKT, though. SKT has been the destroyer of zergs (or at least ones they bought).

You need to look at more recent stuff, Jaedong's ZvT is looking fantastic as of late though his other matchups are suffering of this.

I mainly agree with you, I would be okey with Jaedong going to either STX or Khan, preferably Khan. Just not SKT!!

What if the 3 disbanding teams merged into one by a new company? Jaedong, Sea and Baby on the same team. Could work. But only big teams have good protoss. I never understood that.
